I signed up to do a self-guided tour but when I got to the home there was no key in the lock box. I called and called and called but I could not get an answer from anyone. I also sent text messages and left a voicemail but no one has gotten back to me yet. I had to give my credit card information just to sign up to do the self guided tour and for no one to give me a call back is very suspicious. With this first impression I know I do not want to do business with them.

I had an issue with my Dryer. Danny from maintenance is great. He kept me informed and did an amazing job with my request. Danny represents Trademark well.

The office and your property manager will be unreachable. Maintenance is the only reliable person who will answer the phone. After you sign that lease, get ready to be wholly and completely ignored, despite the urgency or importance of your issue. Never before have I had such a poor, disconnected experience, even with heartless corporate realty companies (who at least have the decency to hire people with proficiency in phone communication).

My lease is ending August 31st and I've been trying to reach my property manager, Kina Roberts, for over 3 weeks now with a few questions. After about 6 phone calls and voicemails and just as many emails she got back to me with one misspelled sentence that didn't even address everything I asked. there is a similar review below and trademarks policy is to get back within one business day, that has never been the case.

She is incredibly hard to get ahold of and always very short whenever I can actually reach her. Denise at the front desk is great though, very friendly and always quick to help. In addition the maintenance staff was great to work with. My low star rating is solely for my experience working with Kina. She is a renters main point of contact, customer service should be at least somewhat of a priority.

Do NOT rent from Trademark Residential. Worst company I have ever rented from. My apartment had numerous maintenance issues that were never fixed. I eventually had a roach infestation. I got out of my lease with them after only 3 months. One Trademark employee, Jessica, assisted me purely out of the kindness of her heart when she happened to hear of my situation. Now, she has resigned from the company, due to its toxic environment. By far, my worst landlord in 20 years of renting apartments all over the US. Stay away!

Jessica and Cordelia were very active, involved, and understanding through our whole application process. They were easy to work with and truly went to bat to get us into our new home.

RENTERS BEWARE! My previous post was taken down by the company after they responded asking for my proof and I provided it. Here it goes again, communication is poor and there is a lot of shady business. They took $1150 out of my account and have been lying about it every since and I'm not even a tenant all I did was apply! Debra Thomas is the worse if them all she told me the charge didn't go through due to nsf but the "documentation" stated it was rejected for a different reason. When I asked her about the inaccuracies she told me to get a lawyer.

Very unprofessional. Debra Thomas is the worse of the bunch. This is a company ran by complete scammers. I mean you can read the responses and tell they are unprofessional.

Edit 2022: Trademark residential has lied below and said I am not associated with the company. I lived in a rental house in Raleigh north carolina. The house was sold to trademark residential. They then evicted myself and dozens of other people, and tore down the homes in order to build more expensive ones. One of the people evicted, who lived in the same duplex as me, died of a heart attack a week after being evicted. Trademark Residential are filthy landlords and gentrifiers. People and companies like this are what is wrong with the world today

I had an appointment to view a home that was for rent. I arrived at the correct time but no one was there. I attempted to text and call and no one answered the phone. I waited 45 minutes and no one showed up. Very unprofessional. Update: Actually, I was not 10 days early. The email I received from Trademark tonight at 8:15 pm apologized for the "glitch in the system" that allowed me to sign up for a tour before the house was ready to be viewed.

I was not contacted to reschedule until after I left my initial post on Google. But I do thank you for reaching out, explaining about the glitch, and offering to reschedule the appointment.

Michelle Clark, the property manager at 450 Hay Street Fayetteville, NC is by far the most involved, active, and professional property manager I've ever had the pleasure of having supervise any apartment I've ever lived in. I highly recommend the facility due to the support from Michelle and her team alone.

My partner and I rented a home under trademark for 1 year and I'm so glad the private owner of the home switched companies. I experienced so many frustrating issues with Trademark that I have to believe it was not just our property manager - it must run deep in the company. Things you need to be aware of if you rent from this company: Rent was frequently not posted.

I had to actually remind them several months to post our rent so that we could pay it. Work orders went weeks sometimes MONTHS un-attended to. I will say that after diligently pushing the company to fix things like our HVAC system, oven, or dishwasher. Eventually they did, but it put us in bad situations living without heating, appliances, or cooling for weeks/months on end.

Our house didn't have insulation in the floor or ceiling and we are unsure about the walls but moisture in the home was a huge problem. I was just super un-impressed and have some lingering frustrations. Oh and it's been almost three months of no Trademark residential and I'm still cleaning up messes from their sloppy management.

Since this company took over management at the complex I live in they have sent out many flyers with new changes they are making along with a number and email to contact with "any questions you may have." The first time I had an issue with paying rent and it took them two weeks to finally call me back. I have reached out since then with other questions to no response. I have called many times, and left several emails and voicemails.

If you want a management company that will fix things don't move here. If you want them to respond to you expect at least a month of waiting if not more. For two months i had no heat, they felt a space heater was sufficient even though i was still charged 1700 a month for rent. They say they have granite countertops yet it's granite tile that is chipped and porous.

I had water coming in my walls and was told that it's normal for my thermostat to leak. (That's interesting considering that there is only electrical wires connected to it) there was water damage on nearly every wall. You could see it bubbling up (i have photos) all of this was communicated to the management with no real concern. In fact when i brought up that i had been charged rent with no heat and requested it back that if i didn't i might meet them in small claims court with a screen grab of the NC housing code all of my maintenance requests were suddenly deleted.

The unprofessionals that work here must not realize that it sent a confirmation email to me every time i submitted a request. Also i took photographs every time something was wrong. I have far too many photos of this place. It's truly disappointing because it was a beautiful place but if they do not begin to maintain the property it will end up being condemned. P.s.

This is in regards to the willowwood apartments also i didn't have any neighbors that had better luck with management. But the landscaping crew did really well with making the outside look nice.

Trademark Residential recently acquired Sterling Magnolia apartments in Charlotte and have been underwhelming at best. This is in no reflection based on the management in the office but for Senior Leadership. I have lived on this property for 8 years and have slowly watched it on the down fall with the lack of improvements and maintenance needed to maintain a complex.

Since Trademark's acquisition in January I have seen hallway carpets develop with mold, and garage doors being broken for 6+ months. We have continuously heard that improvements were coming first it was March, then end of April and now they say end of June. While this property is managed by Trademark and owned by Goldrich Kest, I'm slowly starting to feel like I live in Section 8 housing. not to mention the bullet casing I found this morning walking my dog.

For a company that prides itself of luxury living, the senior leaders need to take action to this property asap. I really do like the property manager a lot but there is only so much she can do for the residents when everything starts from the top down.

This company is pushing out tenants without proper notice after buying up a property. Basically one month notice to get out and find somewhere else to live even though this is some of the little affordable housing in downtown Raleigh. This is extremely unprofessional and I would hate to do business with someone who is contributing to pushing out low-income people, especially those who have been apart of this neighborhood longer than most of these companies have been around. Don't contribute to more gentrification, do not rent from these heartless people.
