I rented a beach house in Newport for four days from Burr White. I booked the day before my trip so I couldn't book online and had to call in for the reservation. Summer was very helpful and got everything handled in a professional manner. I was enjoying my stay so much that I wanted to add an additional day & Summer quickly got a new contract emailed to me.

The beach house was nicely updated, super clean and in a fantastic location where I could walk or bike to everything I needed. The garage remote was missing & Summer sent someone out in a timely manner. He was also helpful in showing me how all the TV remotes worked. They have a good variety of rentals and price points to fit a range of budgets. Renting a beach house, even for a few days, is a wonderful experience for singles, couples and definitely if you have kids.

Nothing like having the sand/waves a few steps from your "house"! Cons: Their fee's ( nonrefundable damage waiver, cleaning/linen, processing) were too high for a one bedroom/one bath rental. I've rented from many vacation rental companies and none have charged that much. Those high fees are the only thing that would discourage me from renting from them again.

Terrible customer service and lots of issues with the home. We arrived and the home was not cleaned well indoors. Outdoors was not cleaned as well in who knows how long. We booked the home because it had a nice outdoor patio and outdoor seating but that was all filthy and covered in webs and cushions were all dirty. Wifi did not work. No garage remote. Had to make multiple calls to the main office to come get it fixed.

Water heater makes a banging noise and is indoors which made it tough to fall asleep for all of us including the baby because the home was falling apart. & on top of it all, they have a "damage waiver fee" which most would assume is the same as a security deposit except it is non refundable to our surprise. Will not book from here again and filed a claim with my bank.

Burr white reality. A highly unprofessional reality service where NOTHING gets done. They hire amateurish snobs (Shawn) who talks back to you like your teenage daughter and also won't talk to you unless you're on the lease, EVEN IF he contacts the lease owner and LIES DELIBERATELY TO HIS FACE. *hence why I called* No one at this company will get back to you.

They will answer the phone but give you NO ANSWERS FOR ANY OF THE PROBLEMS THAT CONCERN THEM, all you get is, we have to call someone who has to call someone else and then that person will get back to you.* Which never happens. The fridge is completely broken, blinds are shredded to crap, and the carpet on the stairs is completely off on half of all the steps *HELLO LIABILITY* It has now been over a month. YIPPIE! They've known all of this but refused to take action like a REAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK. This company should be wiped off the planet.

I rent a studio managed by Burr White. I found my kitchen cabinet covered in black mold and reported it to burr white on Nov. 6. They have STILL not removed the cabinet or remedied the mold in any way. Instead they spent money on a sketchy company to come do environmental test who came up with a report that has as its first line: "The area is free of visible mold." I'm attaching the picture so you can judge for yourself.

No one from this testing "company" will return my calls or provide their license information. Everything I've read says black mold is incredibly dangerous. Yet, they say they're still getting quotes on repairs. It's been over a month. I've had my own mold person here who says it's throughout the kitchen there, bathroom, and windows.

They clearly have no regard for my health or safety despite the expensive rent I pay every month. SKETCHY COMPANY. So disappointing. Don't rent from them on the peninsula. * Michael Dowling head of maintenance has been incredibly rude to me in this process and has seemingly gone out of his way to try to prove I'm wrong, rather than fix this. He's tried to make me feel stupid for caring about this and wanting it remedied quickly, despite the fact that he's seen it.

Burr White has been managing our beach rentals for over 20 years and we are exceptionally satisfied with their leasing and property management for both weekly summer rentals and leasing of our winter rentals. A BIG thank you to Gary, their property manager, for his quick responses to any issues that come up. He knows and cares about all 4 of our units like they were his own and recently went way above and beyond to remedy a mysterious water leak.

He provided constant feedback with suggestions for remedies and organized all the contractors to complete the job. We could not be happier with the professionalism and responsiveness. If you're looking for the best, look no further than Burr White Realty.

Burr White was wonderful to deal with! Managed a rental on the beach and everything was as we hoped it would be. They answered all my questions when I called and even hung onto our luggage for a bit so we did not need to haul it around town before our rental was ready. This was one of the best vacations we have had.

We had our first vacation since Covid started and were very disappointed with the first property we had selected. Katie at Burr White in Newport Beach was so kind and immediately found another property to put us in the same day that was so beautiful and we were able to stay there and save our vacation. Special thanks to the property owner for being so flexible and letting us stay at her beautiful home.

Unprofessionally ran company here. Agents collect application fees from 20+ applicants and than poof, never here from them again. To think property owners actually pay this garbage management company blows my mind. Stay clear from this place!

DO NOT RENT at 115 39th street. The one main problem is the permanent resident who lives next door. We stayed there this summer and on the first day at 2 in the afternoon she came over and yelled at my sister in law, telling her she was a permanent resident and the kids running around was NOT OK. If you are going for a family vacation with kids who want to run around and play, I do not recommend this place.

It was an OK property. The detail to cleanliness didn't seem high on the priority list as there were smooshed Oreos under the glass table. The sheets were stained(clean I'm sure) just stained. They had no dust pans in either unit and the bathroom door in unit A downstairs has no lock. We used to work with Burr White Realty quite often. When we booked 115 39th last year, it was owned by another rental company so it is a newer rental property for Burr White.

We started using a different realty company as they were easier to work with making credit card payments and had lower fees. I will say, every time we had an issue this year(stove top didn't work and no hot water for a day) they came pretty quickly to fix. The gas line was shut off. If it hadn't been for the resident who lived next door it would have been a pretty good experience.

I'm sure if you rent through Burr White you will have a fine experience. No one was ever rude and as I said, they had people come fairly quickly when we had a problem. I'm glad we were able to make it a fun trip despite the neighbor.

We were very pleased to spend a week in a Burr White Vacation rental last week. We were extremely happy with the service of the Burr White staff, the sophisticated and thorough check in system and the conditions of the contract to ensure we would be good neighbors during our stay. We very much enjoyed our visit at the home right on the sand in Newport Beach.

Unfortunately we were not able to stay at this beautiful vacation rental because of a medical emergency that came up the day we were suppose to arrive. Called later that day to let them know, with no intentions of getting my money back but I was met with so much kindness. They refunded me the total amount. cannot recommend working with better people! Looking forward to staying in the future!

We stayed at this property for a month. It was clean and well stocked. The few issues we had were handled quickly and resolved. Burr White was great and responsive. Great location, quiet yet close to the beach. We took our dog and it was nice to walk around the neighborhood with him. Parking was great and a bonus to have washer and dryer available. Would definitely stay again.

Kerri and the BW team have several times helped my family find a beautiful home on the sand for a staycation in Newport. Last weekend was very memorable! Thank you Kerri for all your help!

Just spoke with Kerri from their office and she resolved my problem quickly with no pain to me. She was an angel to work with and so caring. Thank you Burr White Realty for making my stay in Newport Beach an excellent one.

This place was perfect in every way! Burr White Realty was SO easy to work with. Even with all the new covid rules, they made check in/check out so easy. They even called me while we were staying there to make sure everything was to our liking. Couldn't have asked for better customer service! The property was gorgeous! And was the perfect location!

Right next to the beach, Balboa pier and Balboa boardwalk. House was clean, organized, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there! I highly recommend this property or any property that Burr White Realty has! You won't be disappointed! Will definitely use them again for my vacation needs!

I rented a beach front condo from Burr White Newport Rentals offseason in 2020. The property management company was not a very responsive management company, especially when it came to COVID-19 and the panic that my family and I were dealing with. During the COVID-19 Pandemic Newport Rentals refused to reimburse us on the unused time of our rental, despite the governor's stay at home orders and the rental could not be used during this time. I would not recommend using Newport Rentals for renting a long term property in Newport Beach. I was extremely unsatisfied with my experience, and will not use them again.

My family and friends stayed at a beach house rental (3903 Seashore Drive A) for the past 5 days. The beach house itself was pretty standard, a bit outdated, but the view was great and is conveniently located close to the supermarket down the street. Our experience would have been pretty good if it weren't for the rude-ass Karen we unfortunately encountered. I'm assuming she might be the owner upstairs or the property manager, but her attitude was extremely uncalled for.

She was incredibly condescending when she spoke to us. I was honestly pretty caught off-guard. My nephew tossed his frisbee a little too hard and it flew up onto the balcony. My sister called and someone told her they would be there the next day. A couple days later and this Karen finally shows up. Here's the gist of our conversation. "I guess you guys really wanted the frisbee.

You called 3 times." Me: "Yeah, someone said they were going to come by the next day." She made a comment and then asked me, "Is there a dog here?" I replied to her first comment and she rudely said, "That wasn't my question. IS THERE A DOG HERE?" Me: "Uhh, yeah. The rental didn't state anything about a pet policy." "Well, you're not allowed to have dogs here.

The carpet is brand new." Me: "Oh okay. Well, we have to go back home to take care of something anyway. We can take him home right now." "IS THIS THE CHEN FAMILY?" Me: "Yeah, my sister rented this house." "The house ONLY SLEEPS SIX. THERE'S MORE THAN SIX PEOPLE HERE." Me: "Right. they're our friends who are visiting for the day." At this point I don't really remember the rest of the conversation, but that was the important part it anyway.

She was just down-right rude and disrespectful. She was lucky my sister was busy because she would never let someone talk to us that way. She would've been put in her place. I'm not a pushover myself, but that was pretty much the first Karen encounter I've ever experienced. The other really frustrating part of this trip? Parking. Good luck having guests over.

The parking situation is a down-right joke. I spent 40/45 minutes circling the entire area for parking and had to settle for parking in front of the garage. My friends spent 20 minutes searching as well. Fortunately he was able to find parking 10 minutes away. I seriously contemplated sleeping at home and taking an Uber to the beach house. While I was searching for rentals, I found a lot of places that were the same cost, or slightly cheaper/more expensive, but the homes were more up-to-date and accommodating. My family looks forward to renting next year, but it's definitely not going to be through Burr White.

The worst rental company in all of Orange County. Do not rent from this company. Incompetent and not helpful. Beware.

Incredible service! My family and I have tried other rentals, and this was by far the best. You can't go wrong with them. The house was beautiful and whenever we needed something, they got it to us as soon as possible. You'll have a wonderful time;

I rented a house from them and we went to renew our lease they told us that the property owners wanted the home for their family members it was a lie they just wanted us out of their home we never had a late payment we lived in the ghetto in Westminster so we shouldn't had a problem the address was Olive St., Westminster, CA you don't want to rent this home the owners live in the back parking is a problem Jodi was really rude said we were her were harassing her And to top it off we gave a $2700 deposit they charged us to paint the house which is normal Wear and tear gave us fake invoices the people that were painting the house were supposed to be professionals it was the gardener and his wife so please don't be defiled by this owner

Beach rental was nice, clean, and small. But this is a very unprofessional company. When a phone call is made to address a concern during a vacation, only to be told they were too busy to listen, it is frustrating to say to least. I called to receive some customer service and it simply wasn't available. That is extremely disappointing. I have heard about other people's experiences with rentals through this company, and they haven't been favorable. I should have listened, lesson learned. I will take my business to Sea Breeze Vacation Rentals.

Company is okay. Most of the staff is willing to help you but the owner is the one thing that would make me never want to rent again from this company. I feel bad giving a one star but the extremely condescending and rude owner should not be able to act the way he does. Had an issue do to some unruly people invited to my house by my roommates when I was out of town.

While trying to explain that I was willing to take the blame and apologize like an adult I was cussed out, yelled at and called a liar to my face by a man who is near to 40 years older than me. Regardless of the situation the issue should never be resolved the way it was handled here. UPDATE Such an unprofessional response. Not only did I mention that I was willing to take the blame, never did I say me being out of town make my obligation to the lease invalid.

If you read the response properly you would understand that. I was willing AND DID take full responsibility for those over at my house. What is most unprofessional is the fact you just lied to all the yelpers. I was cussed at, threatened, and threatened to be sued BY THE OWNER of the company to my face. It was not a neighbor. Fact of the matter is exactly what my first post said.

Company is okay. Unprofessional owner and now unprofessional yelp responses. I wish you all the best and hope that you can live life without more lies and with more happiness.

Great company. Rented from them for two years in Costa Mesa/Newport area, and received wonderful service.

This was our first time leasing with Burr White Realty and the process was stress free. Finding a long term lease in a highly desirable area is extremely difficult but Traighe Concannon and the Burr White Team took care of the work for us. We found the perfect, most beautiful, upgraded townhome on the market. From the moment we met with Traighe, his professionalism and knowledge about the Newport Beach housing market stood out from any other realtor we've worked with.

He was on time, diligent and provided timely responses to our many emails(sorry we have a lot of questions)! I can't thank Traighe and the Burr White Realty Team enough for making a stressful process a breeze! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pain free process with long-term leases AND vacation rentals. I look forward to working with Traighe for many years to come!

This is my family's second year using Burrwhite's rental property. We intend to make this an annual trip. The staff has always been more than responsive and helpful. The property located on seashore was as described and located perfectly on the beach. We intend to use Burrwhite and their rental properties for years to come. This year we had some family emergencies arise and Burrwhite was more than accommodating to our needs making sure we didn't have to cancel this year's trip. Very pleased! Toby T.

This business, especially George, is fantastic! They were really there for my friend tonight when he locked himself out of his place by accident and were responsive in an extremely timely manner. The reason we were extremely impressed today was because they were willing to respond during off hours on a holiday to help out. My friend was locked out with just the laundry room keys and a chapstick, not even a phone, and was able to get in contact with them easily using the emergency line on his upstairs neighbor's phone.

They came immediately and allowed him to use the company keys to get into the place and only asked for a good Yelp review as payment, which we thought was more than generous! Thanks so much George for taking time off your Easter to help a nearly-frozen guy out!
