We rented from Davidson for about 2 years and were impressed with how responsive and good their maintenance was. They were always fast to fix things and their maintenance people were really excellent and kind. Their front desk people are great too. Only gripe was our deposit return was slow, but they were fair with deductions. If we come back to San Antonio se wouldnt hesitate to rent from them again.

We have a rental home and Davidson properties has made the entire process easy! In fact the renter decided to rent the home for another year. They are quick to answer the renter and quick to contact us if there are any problems. They make a great partnership!

Great experiences with the employees with regard to repairs and communication. They may agree to repair something and then back out, as happened to us. The one we stayed in was old. We did not give a white glove inspection on our way in, but we got one when we moved out. They might tell you "we don't do move out inspections with tenants" I would insist on it if you rent from them. They will nickel and dime you wit your deposit. Document every single item you see. If there is dust when you move in make sure you document it. Take photos of everything.

We recently moved out of house managed by Davidson Properties. We rented the house for 5 years. It was a 1915 craftsman in Alamo Heights. All older homes come with their own quirks, they are not a new build. With that comes upkeep and repairs. Our experience as tenants was that Davidson responded promptly to all repairs. We had dripping faucets fixed, sinks replaced, air conditioning repairs during the hot summer.

All normal maintenance for a home of that age. Davidson had every issue addressed ASAP. We recently received our deposit back in full $2600 dollars including our $400 pet deposit. You may wonder how we accomplished this. We maintained the house, as if we owned it. We cleaned it, every week, vacuumed, dusted, didn't let mold grow in the shower. We watered and fertilizers the lawn, so that it was greener then we found it. Kept the plants pruned.

Then when it was time to move out we had Davidson's cleaning person, do a deep cleaning which we paid for. We did have one issue with the 34 year old refrigerator that broke down twice. The third time it was replaced, but that was up to the home owner to finally act. People need to remember that property management company need owners approval prior to making any changes to a property. We had a positive experience with Davidson Properties, and would recommend leasing from them.

The application process went smoothly and getting a hold of Davidson has been no trouble so far. They've gotten back to us the same business day if we left messages or emailed them. There was one major issue before moving into the rental house: although the carpet appeared to have been shampooed, there were multiple pet stains in every carpeted room, and the living room carpet had a few furniture stains.

We are clean freaks with a toddler and a small dog in our family, so we decided to push back and told Davidson we would not move in until the stains were completely removed or the carpet replaced. My husband made his first call to Davidson on a Wednesday. New carpet was installed by Friday night of the same week. Ken was professional and seemed sincere in wanting to resolve the issue.

I've also had the pleasure of working with Kayci and another front desk rep via email and phone, and they have been pleasant dealings so far. We were burned by the last property management we worked with (who, ironically, also goes by Davidson). Although we hope that this company's politeness and professionalism continue throughout our stay, we will keep our guard up and rear ends covered until our lease term ends. UPDATE: It's been less than a month since my family and I moved out of the house we rented from Davidson for three years.

We already got our deposit back and had no issues with the items on their moveout inspection list of charges. We had a pleasant experience with them over the past few years from the application process through moving out. I recommend them highly.

We've used them as our rental management company since 2011. They've done a fantastic job of keeping our property both rented and cared for. Very responsive to queries from both our renters and us, and able to provide advice on questions when needed. They rigorously screen potential renters to ensure that property owners can be sure that their homes will be taken care of. They perhaps charge more than other management companies but we have found that you get what you pay for.

This company is great. As a repair vendor doing business with Davidson Properties, we depend on the work, which has been thankfully steady, and Ashley has always been a pleasure to work with. We get work orders emailed to us, and we send invoices via email.easy peasy. Everybody at the office has been very pleasant. They seem to really care about getting the work completed for their residents. We have worked with them for over 5 years, and hope for many many more years down the road.

This company is not honest. When we first toured the rental property, we noticed a strong pet odor. We agreed to lease the property with the understanding they would correct the matter before the move in day. On the day we agreed the lease would start, I drove down to pick up the keys without incident. However, not only did they not resolve the carpet matter, there was a repair man STARTING to fix some of the problems with the house, and the list was long including unusable doorknobs, critters in the chimney, more the half of the outlets not functioning in addition to the smell.

He was parked in the center of the driveway making it difficult for me to unload my belongings into the garage. I called the office right away and was told that because I had pets, the owner would not do anything to fix the carpet odor. Also, they would credit me just one day of my rent for the day, but nothing for the inconvenience or reimbursement for the utilities or the $75 I spent on urine odor eliminator. They did not even keep that promise. They lied. The property still has numerous problems. Run, don't walk away from this company.

I am very happy that Davidson Properties is our management company. We are renting an older home and it seems as if one thing or another needs to be checked as time goes by. The staff at Davidson answer the call right away politely and process our requests. Depending on the time, either that day or the day after the specialty we need (plumbing, electrical, general handiwork etc) calls to schedule a convenient time to come investigate.

We are so thankful to have a management company that is so on top of it. We rented another property in San Antonio for a year and did not receive even close to the service and attention we get from Davidson. Thank you!
