DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! IF you do you will be stuck with repairs that are never done or it will take months for the repairs. They could care less if your a/c, stove, microwave, and more has a problem.7 months ago a tree was blown down and hit the side of our garage and busted all the way threw. WELL ITS STILL THERE

I have been waiting since March for their maintenance to fix my AC. No one is responding to emails. The phone number only goes to press options just for you to go to an answering machine of the "General Manager" but he never returns the calls. And when the maintenance did respond to an email, it was to say they are waiting for approval for a part.we are going into June.
I have a two children, and one has special needs. The temperature has been 80+ and reaching 90 in doors. My children and I are sleeping in sweat puddles even with the fans I've brought. It's so disappointing because the area is nice but I thought Dilworth would be better taken care of. Pipes have had to be replaced because they rotted out. They painted the floors and it comes up constantly.
Before I was able to move and you could see where the maintenance people had been in the house because their work boots had scuffed up the paint all over the house. They charged my neighbor for my water because they tried to sneak it in the lease and I caught it and made them send another before I signed. He ended up been reimbursed. Unprofessional. UPDATE: I've been getting a bunch of runaround. Still not fixed. Still waiting for the portable unit until it gets fixed. Next step is a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

Worst management company ever! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! You can never get in contact with the property manager or maintenance. They never answer the phone or follow up with you on any issues. My washer has been broken for TWO MONTHS and still is not fixed/replaced as of now. Within that time, I've been calling daily and have only been to get in touch with someone twice.
Whom have said that someone will come and fix/replace it but no update as to when. Also, nothing has been done by the management as far compensation, any accommodations or even an apology to help remediate the situation.

The property rental company has had the worst customer service. We have been renting a new construction home since last summer and we have found through the months yard wasn't properly graded. There is no grass hur million of rocks and debri through out the yard. We have called and put in countless requests for them to correct and they have all been neglected.
There are partial large concrete pieces exposed, brick corners, metal objects from the build. We are responsible to mow so we have and a rock has now damaged our brand new truck and no one will return the calls. I'm afraid my toddler daughter will trip over the object and smack her head on the exposed concrete pieces or metal. No one will return our calls they now send me the voicemail and we have over 6 open matinencw requests they won't acknowledge. Everyday I got around and pick up rocks and add them to our flower bed- you can see from photo below how many I've already gathered.

Horrible company that bought out the apartment complex where I reside. Went up on rent and have the nerve to charge the tenant for processing fees. These apartments are just basic and have no central air/heating, gym, swimming pools and etc. They don't fix anything when you submit a request. Typical greed and don't care about the people who live here before they decided to come to Gastonia and take over the property. I'm surprised this company remains in business.

I only give 1 star because I'm thankful Brown and Glenn allowed me to stay in one of their houses. But on the other note how am i charge for things that i had no control over like the dishwasher you all sent i guess the maintenance man to come an fix. An the refrigerator that was already broke. An a bunch of other things. An trying to call you all is like trying to get ahold of someone who's not wanting to talk to me an is looking ring at the caller ID. An it's crazy because it was slapped on my credit report 4 years later. Like who am i supposed to talk to about this matter.

I'm so glad that I wasn't deterred from working with Brown & Glenn Realty based upon the many bad reviews they have because my experience has been the complete opposite of the negative reviews listed. When I was alerted last week that a rental listing was available, I immediately called the number listed to see if the company even existed. With there being so many housing scams going on, I did my research first before making any moves.
When I called, I was greeted by Karen Kastings(Property Manager) and it was a hit from the start. I explained to Karen that me and my husband were relocating with our jobs, seeking to open up my vintage boutique storefront and just ready for a fresh scene. I asked if there was an app on the listing we wanted and she said no, and literally walked me through every requirement needed to make my wish a reality.
I got her over the required info through a super simple application process and approved the next day. I grew concerned when I didn't hear back from Karen and was greeted by Abby Martinez who is also super kind and helpful to work with. Both ladies kept me informed of where we were in the process and answered all of my questions regarding the rental property we chose. Karen is currently making my new move such a seamless and pleasant experience and I'm so thankful I didn't listen to what I read but took a leap of faith to see for myself.
To ANYONE relocating to the Charlotte area, I would highly suggest you work with Brown & Glenn to ensure a few things: 1. That you won't be scammed out of your time or money. 2. That you will experience professionalism in a way that you deserve. Finding a new place in a new city can be very daunting, but because of kind people like Karen and Abby who go above and beyond for their customers, it makes the experience a breeze and joy to be a part of!

I wish I had the really energy to explain my entire situation but I won't. This company isn't professional they don't cRe about the residents. Had a whole in my roof for almost a month had to call the city and news before they would even act as if they cared. My air and heat hasn't worked since September and all they say is wait for the landlord to contact you we don't handle repair what do you handle then. Just the funds
