CHR has been our goto site for booking our stay in Wildwood Crest for over a decade.

Critical: Professionalism Very unprofessional running his business. He is not organized and is only out for a fast dollar. I'd steer clear of doing any type of business with Chris Henderson. House cleaning, vacation rentals ect. Steer clear!

Our food and crabcakes were very good. Jumbo steamed shrimp are worth the extra cost! Our waitress was excellent. Awesome views! Only reason for 4 stars is the outside areas need shades in the early evening;some seats were very uncomfortable due to the direct sunlight.

Very accommodating, they do whatever they can to make sure you have everything you need. Home away from home!

My issue was that the original condo I was to stay in was under construction and many of the amenities promised were not provided. Basically we chose not to stay and dispute. We were homeless. With the kindness of the staff and Chris they opened there doors and provided a room to us at the last minute for a weeks stay. Honestly this is not what we expected - We loved the size of the rooms and the location.

The feature of the security and storage was great. The only thing I can complain about is that I needed to leave at the end of the week. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for taking care of my family in a desperate time. I can't wait to return.

I wish we could give zero stars! We booked our annual trip to Wildwood to visit family from out of state almost a year ago. With the recent pandemic we do not feel comfortable flying to NJ and they will not refund us the thousands of dollars we sent them for a deposit unless they find another renter for the condo! They even suggested that we might as well just pay the rest and still come!

They are cold hearted and do not care about the health of their renters. Apparently they would rather risk us contracting COVID-19 while traveling and find us sick or dead in their condo. I understand contracts but this is a national pandemic for Gods sake! There should be some understanding. No thanks. I don't recommend them to anyone.

Someone else posted the same thing I'm about to post. We booked our vacation before the pandemic. This will be our first time going to Wildwood. We do not feel comfortable going now and they said they will not refund our money unless someone rents out the place. These are unusual circumstances. for the renters and those renting the condos out. Chris tried to tell me everything will be open, there will be plenty to do, it will be great, the virus dies in the heat, etc. Well- pools still aren't open.

My kids will be very disappointed. While so many other rentals around the country are offering free cancellation at this time bc that is what a decent business would do, Henderson Realty is not.

I have been renting through Chris Henderson Realty for 13 years consistently (except for one year using VRBO due to lack of inventory). I have consistently stayed at Coastal Colors. There have been hiccups along the way - but usually work out fairly. Over the last 3 years there has been a steady decline. This year I rented a unit with a $1K deposit, and for the first time, decided to just have them keep the deposit for the next year.

We typically book in December/January, but received a notification in November that we needed to send an additional deposit money in November or forfeit our hold because they are booking up for next summer. We could not commit for that week, so I requested the deposit returned. After calling to confirm they received email, we discussed applying my deposit to a different unit during a different week.

I waited two weeks for the lease, then followed up and called to find out that they cancelled my deposit and gave the rental to someone else since they didn't think I wanted it. (No rationale to this claim) Then they said they would return my deposit. 2 months later, no deposit returned. I called for the 5th time (previous calls I was told that Chris Henderson would call me back directly, "not sure why the deposit wasn't returned".) Called for a 6th time last week to speak to the original unprofessional agent who said she thought Chris would have called me, but she is away until February, so they will just send me my deposit back. Really?

That was a week ago, still no deposit (I guess $1K is just not that important). Note: In 13 years I have NEVER not received fully refund.) I am concerned that they are running a scam, and hopefully my deposit is returned. I would NEVER use them again - which is a shame after 13 years. Shocked at the unprofessional and nasty nature.

Chris Henderson Realty is a good place to rent a condo for weekly couple days it's a great place to atmosphere is fantastic very clean building I recommend staying there if you can I miss Chris Hnderson is it great person. come check it out Scott pool Sundeck fireworks every Friday comfortable condos big rooms hope to see you here.

Wow. Chris Henderson Realty charged me $10 to empty a dishwasher full of clean dishes. They feel it ok to take this out of my security deposit, yet upon arrival I made a notification of two things that were wrong with the unit. (A screen door would not open -and the pull out couch/bed would not work properly). Neither were fixed during my stay. And they have the audacity to charge me $10 to put away clean dishes.

Good luck in the future. This type of business practice will ultimately do you in. I will NEVER rent from them again. Zero care for renters. Do yourself a favor. Pay a little more and stay somewhere that actually cares.

In June 2016, my family and stayed at ocean towers South where we have stayed faithfully for the past 10 years. Because I was late booking I was unable to get my usuall room. We ended up staying in unit 210. Upon arrival I was extremely disappointed as the room had not been updated in many years. Kitchen cabinets were 1970's metal and filthy. The kitchen was not stocked with a single utensil and not a single dishtowel to be found in the place. Closet doors were all metal and extremely difficult to open and close.

I found mold in the linen closet. Bedroom carpet badly stained. When we pulled the pull out mattress in the living room potato chips fell out and the mattress was unfit for, my dog to sleep in let alone my children. I am not one to complain but I was besides myself as I had just spent over two grand to stay there for the week. I called management up to my room and the only thing they could offer was a blow up mattress.

And to add insult to injury we tried laying on it and the thing would hold air and we were on the floor with in probably ten minutes. Needless to say we couldn't sleep on it so we deflated it completely and put it back in its bag. I decided not to let this ruin my vacation and we just doubled up on the two beds in the bedroom. Upon departure we left the aromattress in its bag on the couch.

Several weeks later we received our deposit back in the mail minus 100 dollars with a letter that states they couldn't find the air mattress so they were keeping part of my deposit. Nice going Chris Henderson. I will never stay there again. Enjoy the 100 dollars.
