Linda is originally from Gastonia, NC and has lived in Rock Hill for over 35 years. Linda has been a licensed real estate professional since 1989 and started Property Management in 1997 with Coldwell Banker. In 2004, Linda opened Muse Realty, LLC and grew it from a small company to one of the largest and most reputable property management companies in York County.

Your home is one of your most valuable investments. Entrusting it to the right property management company is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make.
You must submit a copy of each adult applicant's Driver's License for your application to be processed. Please note that co-signers are only accepted for full time college students, once their applications are completed and approved. Application Fee: The application fee is $35 per person (18+). This can be paid as part of the application process.

We live across a mobile home park that they are supposedly manage. What a joke. Nothing is maintained. The grass is not cut, an old trailer that should be condemned has been sitting there for over a year. In my opinion they are no more then slumlords collecting the rent. I will never recommend this company. If I could give less then one star I would

Did not want to work with us due to a low credit score. Our family had some financial set backs during the pandemic which in result hurt our credit. We have great renter history and no criminal background. We take good care of the home as if it were our own. We were willing to pay extra deposit if needed but wasn't given a chance.

I have several houses currently managed by Muse. Tami is the best there is she goes above and beyond to handle anything that comes up with them. and I cant say enough good things about one of their maintenance vendor, spanky knows how to fix most anything. Overall i can say that I would recommend Muse to anyone looking to list their home and to anyone looking for a rental. They advocate for both the owners and tenants.

Unfortunately these are not humane people, no regard for their renters. We rented a unit and the washer and dryer within the first month broke for over a month. We have 2 small kids and went to the landromats while we waited for this to get fixed-- which took over a month. We requested a reimbursement of $200 for money at laundromats, documented with Muse as well. Took 5 months of hounding to get a simple answer, finally we were declined stating they didnt not have proof of receipts-- because laundromats give receipts. John Crosby is worhtless, Muse Realty is worthless

Rented a home in Rock Hill that was full of Pest and Rodents, marked it down on move in check sheet and requested Multiple times to come spray or have a company come out, Never! The place had filthy carpet at move in, torn and dirty not even steam cleaned let alone needed changed badly from previous tenants. I had to replace the plumbing under kitchen sink as it was not even hooked up at ptrap at move in therefore ended up flooding kitchen multiple times so i purchased new plumbing and replaced myself!

This company is very fraudulent! I put down a $1200 security deposit and of course left it immaculate compared to when i moved in therefore they sent me move out inspect pictures of previous tenants when the home was disgusting, took my $1200 deposit which was more than enough for general cleaning after move out but instead took that and billing me $625 for false allegations! Do not deal with these Crooks! They try to put blame on you for previous renters!

At this point I'm convinced Muse realty is trying to send me into an early labor. I have several maintenance requests that have remained unanswered since my move in date in May. Four months later and I can't get anyone to replace a single levelor faux wood blinds which can simply be purchased at Lowes. The fire place isn't working and I'm concerned that may be caused by a gas leak. (Impossible condition to live in being 8 months pregnant and having 2 small children).

The master bathroom faucet is loose and leaking, which is a safety issue seeing as though I can easily fall and lose my baby. I've been very patient with them but now this is completely unacceptable I've spoke with several people at Muse and no one seems to care.

Everyone working at the Muse Team has been absolutely amazing. They are very responsive when you have any kind of question or concern. They go the extra mile to make you feel at ease and important. Muse Realtor managed my Fort Mill townhouse for 4 1/2 years. The first two years I was living in California and the last two years in Peru. Being such a long way from my property meant I needed a management company who would really have my back. Muse Realtor gave such wonderful service that I was practically carefree. Tami Nichols gave outstanding service and took care of any concerns I had promptly and with such friendliness. Lane and John Edwards also responded efficiently as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Muse Realtor to anyone wanting to put their property on the rental market.

Muse Realty managed my property for many years. Although they successful obtained renters with few periods of dry spells, the cumulative toll on the physical property was unbelievable. Rarely collecting damage deposits, I was shocked by the state of the house once I took it back and tried to sale it. An upstairs room reeked of animal urine. Superficial repairs had been made to the wall where a pipe burst in winter, The garage door was dented and warped to the point it could not be opened or closed easily.

The landscape was an overrun jungle. The kitchen countertop was burned multiple places. A chandelier had been painted. The sprinkler system no longer functioned. And the list goes on.

This review is not for the house we lived in, we actually love our house and had zero problems with the owner. Lets start with finding termites, We made the office aware of this in June and reminded them twice. They finally had someone treat for them, if I was the home owner I would have immediately left this company as these termites had half of a year to destroy God knows what in the floors and walls that we couldn't see.

When moving out we weren't not made aware that our rent would still be deducted as any other autopay we have ever had stops coming out when you don't owe. After calling the office 7 times, we got our money finally almost a month later! The next month it came out again but thankfully I caught it in time. We were told upon moving out we would be contacted about our inspection, I called multiple times to see if and what was coming out of our deposit for that because at our rentals in the past we have always been made aware of anything being deducted and why. This company is a joke not only for lack of communication but for home owners paying this company to trust them with their house.

We have been happy with the service from Tami and team. When I asked around for referrals for a good property manager in the area "Tami at Muse" was the referral I got from multiple people. They were right to refer, as the communication has been clear, concise and accurate. Muse has been punctual with appointments and rent payments and responsive to our questions. I would not hesitate to use their services again and have been thankful for their referrals to other service providers in areas they do not cover.

Absolutely the best experience, people and service I have ever come across. They treat you like family and make sure the connivence and stress of either renting or putting your property up for rent is the easiest process. The service dept is just as wonderful in ensuring everything is working properly and top notch. You will know all of them by name I promise you because they care so much and genially love what they do. The property I rented was fine and things with Muse were also fine in the beginning. After I moved out they sent me half of my security deposit back with various claims of why they kept my money. After disputing the claims and wanting a break down of charges they told me they would get it to me as soon as possible. After a week of waiting I never heard anything.

I then called and was told email was the best way to contact someone. After several emails to them they never responded. I guess it's easy to not respond when I moved several hours away. A complaint with the BBB has been filed.

Muse Realty was a mixed bag. Though the property I lived in was fantastic and things were fine in the beginning, moving out was an absolute and total nightmare. They became vindictive and as my move out date approached, they would do little things to try to make us feel intimidated. One day a surprise inspection happened--the man in our home was extremely rude and kept asking if the dishwasher was broken.

It never was, and I think he was trying to see if we were up to something, which we were of course not. It was uncomfortable. Then the real nastiness: when we moved out, in spite of paying pet fees, they charged us an insane amount of money (2000?) and straight up made some things up. I felt really betrayed in the end as I had several nice years with them.

I hope they can conduct business better in the future and, whenever sending someone to a home, making sure they are polite and not intimidating. As a woman I do not want to be alone in a house with an angry, strange man. Ever.

The only reason i gave them a 1 star is because i could not give them a 0. Cassandra is snarky and rude. they do not take care of landlord responsibilities. they did not inform us that we would have a neighbor with a mental disorder that would be screaming and slamming doors into all hours of the night. they are by far the worst landlords I have ever had! and we have rented from several people in several states due to military service. I will NEVER rent from them again. save yourself the headache and find a nice apartment

We are currently in our second lease with Muse Realty. They are very professional and thorough. I have rented from other property management companies in the area and they are by far the nicest and have the nicest properties. I have read the other reviews and feel they don't do this company justice. They maintain very high standards, as do I.

We did have to pay for a few things when we moved out of our previous property, but they also gave us a chance to fix minor cleaning prior to sending out a cleaning crew. While I know professional carpet cleaning is in the lease, I do feel it is a bit excessive. We own a steam cleaner and I cleaned all the carpets myself. They still required that we pay for the professional cleaning. It is what it is. I am kind of glad our new property has zero carpeting, so we don't have to worry about that this time. They are very responsive to repair requests.

We live out of area and originally purchased a brand new property in Rock Hill in 2006. The rental market was very soft at the time. After interviewing several local property managers, we decided to work with Muse Realty. Even though the market conditions were challenging the Muse team proactively procured a tenant for us within just 2 weeks! Over the years we have had several tenants move out, but Muse Realty always re-rented the property within days!

In mid 2014 our tenants gave notice to vacate. When Muse Realty did the final walk thru they noted that there was an extensive amount of water damage in the kitchen that extended underneath all of the countertops. Regrettably the tenants had let the situation get completely out of hand by not reporting this. As a result the quotes to replace the damaged countertops was in the neighborhood of $3000 which exceeded the tenants security deposit by over $2000! Nate Horne, the Manager at Muse Realty, took it upon himself to locate the original builder and find a match for the countertops in North Carolina.

This resulted in a HUGE savings to us! We have worked with property managers in over 8 different states over the years and none have come close to giving us the service that Muse Realty has. We would highly recommend them without reservation to anyone in need of a property manager!

I have used Muse Realty to manage my investment properties in Rock Hill for over five years. They have done an excellent job screening potential tenants and have diligently sought to enforce the conditions of lease agreements. Unfortunately, that sometimes means that tenants are required to pay for damages that they caused outside the parameters of normal wear and tear. Conversely, Muse Realty has done a great job at maintaining my properties and keeping them safe and livable for my tenants. Please consider both sides of the equation when judging Muse Realty.

This is absolutely the worst company to deal with. We rented from them for over a year and a half and paid our rent on time. Had to call them out and was charged for an electrical issue that they said was caused by the charger to my laptop; it still works perfectly to this date. Recently moved out and cleaned the home, I admit some minor stuff was missed but not enough to take entire deposit and charge $160 more.

When we first moved in the house was not cleaned well and only two bedrooms had carpet that we had to go in and deodorize and clean ourselves and was later charged because they were not professionally cleaned when we moved out, if we had known what kind of people they were pictures would have been taken of all the things that they thought were in immaculate condition.

To make a long story short, they charged for trimming shrubbery that they cut down to the ground and $225 for a cleaning lady that said she worked 9 hours and cleaned things that we never used, i.e. the dishwasher. Talked to the office manager that could not document the exact charges for what was done. In addition after giving a thirty day notice, the company came out the next business day to inspect while we were trying to organize our things to move (and brought the owners).

So unprofessional. I will be posting on Social Media so that no one else that I know will be blind-sided by the fake grins and handshakes that lure you in when you apply at their agency. If you do rent, take pictures of EVERYTHING before and after! August 6, 2014 As you can see I am not the party that is upset. Businesses cannot continue to take advantage of customers without them letting others know.

This is just a public service announcement for prospective future renters. I refuse to belittle myself and write a short story for all of the misrepresentations that was written in that book of a response. If you are a homeowner and need upgrades to your property, Muse Realty is the place for you. It will be done at the tenant's expense, RENTERS BEWARE. Last statement and I am done with this foolishness, I will be paying the balance because I am an educated consumer that value my credit.

The absolute worst experience and property management company! I rented a single family home for over 3 years and started to get mail to that address for the owner which was bank prepared. I took these documents to muse realty and asked them to please inform me of what was happening. Foreclosure? Refi? Just let me know because I have a wife, two kids and two dogs.

I spoke directly to Nate who assured me he would let me know if anything was happening. On the 7th of April 2014 I get a call from Tammy asking me why I had not called her? I said I didn't have any reason to call her and she then DROPS the bomb that we have to be out by the end of the month because the owner was moving back. Totally not acceptable and less than 30 days notice I might add!

She said they mailed a letter on the 1st which we never did receive. In a panic my wife and I had to buy a house in 20 days because we could not find a rental that was in the school district and would accept our dogs. Worse yet we have the house cleaned and spent $350 on carpet cleaning. I talked to jake the inspection manager who said there was $300-$350 in repairs and I said I didn't have time to personally do it so to have their people so it.

I was told I would get my $900 deposit refund by the 30 of May. Well today is the 3rd of June and a check for $400 arrives! They charged me $15 to clean kitty litter. I don't have cats and $400 to clean the outside awning which is aluminum and may I add OUTSIDE! The awning itself couldn't have cost $1000 brand new. Absolutely the very worst people in the property management business. One last thing. My rent was always 15 day in advance so I was a model renter. Please beware if their unscrupulous business practices.

I have know and worked with the Team at Muse Realty for 5 years and I cant say enough great things about them. They are professional and make you feel like you are their only client.
