A lot of red flags from this company. Red flag 1: no updates. I'm on week 4 waiting. No rejection or acceptance. At least have some kind of updates. Red flag 2: their application system of reviewing - maybe a sure way for discriminatory practices. Unless I missed it, they're not very thorough on their process. Red flag 3: hard to get hold of any live person to talk to when calling their office phone number. Regardless of being picked or not, would love to get a courtesy update especially paying 40 per application.

Todd is the best! Met us on our schedule and helped us get into a home super fast and super easy. We love our new home and couldn't be happier with how easy this process was! The whole screm team has been sooo helpful along the way! I even got a call today from maintenance making sure everything was going well and taken care of. They definitely go out of their way to make it a great process.

Horrible experience renting with SCREM. Our maintenance tickets and requests went unanswered for weeks at a time, yet when they needed something from us it had to be done immediately. We had a maintenance ticket open for 5 months because the upstairs shower leaked into the bathroom below and the issue never got resolved. It took 3 weeks to get assistance when the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of summer.
Some of the sprinklers in the yard were cracked and broken, and without setting up an appointment or letting us know, they sent someone over on Memorial Day who turned the water off in the house without notifying us first, and the sprinklers never got fixed. Solar panels were advertised in the house's listing as a way to save energy, but it turned out that we were being charged to pay them off and it wasn't until our first month in the house that we saw the cost was added to our rent, even though there was no mention of this in the lease or when we reviewed our required utilities.
The lease states that in order to get the full security deposit back, the house needs to be professionally cleaned at the end of your lease, so we hired a company that left the house cleaner than it was when we moved in, and we were charged for cleaning and returned less than a quarter of our deposit. Overall we found SCREM to not be helpful or accommodating and I would not recommend renting through this company.

I chose SCREM to manage my rental property and have been beyond pleased with the results. They made the process very easy and streamlined.
