Beware long beach renters. After numerous times of alerting our on site manager and the police. They continue to allow a violent and dangerous tenant, with a known history of drug problems, to live there. Its to the point where there was an attack on my mail box. No investigation has been taken. Also leaving your tents on hold so they get bored and hang up, does not solve the problem

Mervat is a gem! She made the moving in process so lovely and smooth. I came for a showing, and she was very informative, kind, and professional. She communicated the requirements needed before moving in throughout the whole process, and made sure to follow up with me once the unit became available. I appreciate all of her help, and am very excited to be a tenant in the new beautiful studio.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of engaging with Mr. Lamarr Waller. Honestly it was a breath of fresh air to deal with an individual who exudes professionalism, positivity and personal character. The way my fiance and I were treated is definitely the main reason why we are deciding to give this company an opportunity at our business. Dealing with management it usually difficult but Mr. Waller dealt with us with decorum.
We so much appreciated his advice, information as well as suggestions. He was a true gentleman and this company should appreciate his personality and professionalism. Thank you Lamar

Horrible property management group. They do a fantastic job at sucking. They tell you one thing and do opposite of what they say. They hire rude hostile maintenance men. That try to lock themselves in your room. They side with their strange maintenance men rather than the tenants. Come move into one of these god awful apartments that are overpriced and poorly kept.
They also move you around from your assigned parking spot to accommodate other catty tenants that have less time living here. Senoirty goes out the window along with basic human respect.

I live in LCDM and they just increased my rent from $1,190 to $1,525. Is this even legal? GREEDY AND HEARTLESS! I just came back home to find out that what I thought was my water shut off is now my running water! The flow is unacceptable! I'm glad that air is still free because they'll do anything to save a buck! 12/7/21

I lived at 6065 Whitsett Ave for a year, aug 2019-2020. exceptionally poor response from the upper level property managers in response to the pandemic. either non responsive or seemed to not read my emails at all when replying to them. Namus was awful. Patti isn't much better. trying to PAY THEM rental relief is so difficult, just imagine when you need something from them. the rent is decent but for the quality of the APT, the low mood in the complex *even pre-pandemic*, the racial bias a couple of the tenants had while i was there (not most of them, but enough to say), and the decent neighborhood around it, i'd say it's not worth it. especially for 1st time renters in LA like i was. this city is beautiful, don't let an apartment fool you! to be honest the only reason i'm not giving this 0 stars is because the on-site manager Jocelyn, is such a kind, warm, empathetic, and down to earth person.

I am very disappointed with the quality of communication with Property Management Associates. I had made a 1-hour drive through Los Angeles traffic to view an apartment. I called to inform them that I was running 5 minutes late and was then told that the unit was not available. All it would've taken is 1 email, 1 phone call, 30 seconds of someone's day to let me know. I am getting out of work early, driving for hours to find a unit, and it's just unacceptable to me not even to get a courtesy call.

This management company doesn't even deserve 1 negative star. They never answer and take forever to respond when they do and when/if they respond they will accuse you of wrongdoing and not offer help in any way. When it comes to complaints, they pick sides vs investigating the claim first. It's sad to feel the very people that should be taking care of me are pushing me to leave a place i've been at for over 10 years. So now i have to pay more bc they don't want to work or care. Thank you and I hope this company goes under very soon.

I was told in 02/2020 (when we moved in) that our 1 BD Apartment came with 1 parking spot, and that we would be able to rent out a secondary one. Today 06/04/2020 I got off the phone with management in the company and they said that they never guaranteed me a spot from the beginning and they will get back to me MAYBE with news. It's been 4 months.
I have been parking in visitor parking this whole time, I go back to work next week and I may or may not have a parking spot. Now we are forced to deal with this problem until next year when we move out, or have to pay a fine to break a one year contract because someone did not communicate effectively and led us under false pretenses. I am not the only tenant who got told this false promise as well. Also, for about 3 months our parking gate was broken.
Which means it just stayed open permanently. Other people were coming in to park in our visitor parking, people who were not tenants where walking inside and looking into cars trying to break, and lastly we had homeless people sleeping underneath the stairs and leaving their feces. It was when we had someone trying to break into cars that I drew the line and I decided to call property management.
One of the managers named Kyle justified what happened by saying " I live in West LA and cars get broken into all the time.". Okay Kyle? So arrogant company negligence has allowed this man to be able to tell me that because I live in a "bad" area I have to deal with them not caring to fix the gate? Do they do not care about their tenants well-being and property?
Funny enough after I called him out on this, he called me back 5 minutes later and apologized for " making me defensive" and that he had called the company that makes the motor for the gate. He said that they would install it the next week. Funny how fast that was fixed, huh? There are many other things that I am not happy about, but that comes with living in a 30 unit apartment complex, and thats not what this post is about.

Save your money and don't move or work here. This company is very selfish. They don't care about your health or housing. Especially Jodi, the operation manager. Don't waste your time to bring up to her any concern. She will always tell you "if you don't like it then move out". She thinks she manages a dorm. She has 0 customer service skills, I don't even know how she got her job. I highly recommend that you save your time and money. Go rent somewhere else!

Possibly the worst most obnoxious and rude people I've ever had to deal with, went to see an associate manager by the name of Michael to discuss the difficulty entering our gated property he said he talked to one of our employees and if I wanted to know what the solution was I should talk to her, I explained I am the manager and I'm standing in front. of you please tell me. he refused told me I could ask the employee.i then asked who his supervisor was and he told me I could call him if I wanted I laughed and said I wouldn't be needing his permission to do so he proceeded to tell me I was being loud and aggressive and our conversation was over he told me sarcastically to have a wonderful day.all he needed to do was give a literal one minute explanation instead he chose to be adversarial.i would hate to think this man deals with our renters and homeowners in the same manner, I've called whom I was told was his immediate supervisor and not suprisingly I have received no return call.

Worse property management company ever. They don't know how to treat their tenants until the situation is out of control or they are constantly being called about it. The apartment managers are horrible and unprofessional as well. The grounds are dirty, trees & bushes not cut, paint on doors are pealing. Not to mention the last communication I had. with Jodi was unbelievable.
She basically told me if I didn't like what was going on that I was welcomed to leave. WOW. No resolution to my question. When you have all kinds of people showing up and opening up your door to look inside you apartment and they not tell you why? Just a surprise visit. I come home and my door is wide open. Your tenants need an explanation. The have been a thorn in my side and I am glad I do not have to deal with them ever again. Good Luck with your other properties. I hope the are able to withstand the craziness you dish out.
