Last year, we relocated from Ann Arbor, MI to Laguna Niguel, CA. We were obviously concerned about selling our house in Ann Arbor while living so far away. Adam helped us with everything, from finding the right contractors to repaint and fix the house, to finding the right buyers and negotiating the price. He proved to be very knowledgeable and active, and was instrumental in dealing with inspectors and appraisal agents.

Agent Adam said a rental property was approved for our clients that had a house fire and they required tenant to fill out an application and pay a fee, which is standard. I informed him the family should only do this if the landlord was certain he would rent to them if they passed. Family passed application with flying colors and we were led to believe the house was theirs.

I called for days asking for a lease to be sent over to us so we could sign and send money. I did not get a call back for almost a week. At the last minute the landlord did back out of renting to our client. Adam would not return phone calls for days and they would not refund the application fee. I work with agents all over the country and this is not normally how business is handled. It's especially sad that they would conduct themselves in this way when the family involved had lost their home due to a fire.
