We are so proud to be celebrating 50 years in the North Lake Tahoe community. From the Wells & Bennett start in Oakland in 1924, our fourth-generation family-owned company has always put family and community first in each and every one of our offices. During our 50 years in this beautiful lakeside community, we've been entrusted with helping community members realize their Tahoe dreams whether that's a vacation rental for a week, a long-term ski lease for the winter or buying your dream house for a lifetime of memories.
Our staff serve as local vacation consultants and are always available to share their knowledge and create the best guest experience. We also provide Guests with our app, with access to their reservation, specific home information and what is going on in the community. If there is a maintenance issue, guests can request service through the app, and even take photos of the issue at hand. In the rare case of an emergency, we offer Emergency and On Call Staff 24/7, 365 days a year to both our guests and our owners.

It is generally quite easy to get a cab or Uber/Lyft, although during busy times, holidays, or weather events you might have to wait longer than you are used to for a ride. You also will want to make sure you manually add your address, as sometimes the maps features can't pinpoint your exact location, and many street names are similar in the neighborhoods.

I wish I can give 0 star for their service. We were trying to book a property for ski lease in Tahoe posted on their website and they straightly rejected us and not willing to talk any further when our group size is exactly the same as what they posted for the property. Using their own words: "Please move on to another source to lease your winter home.
We are going to pass on leasing to your group." And same story happened multiple times. Please have someone else to post your property since they do not want any business at all.

Negative 5 stars if possible - Wells and Bennett Realtors are unethical, lack professionalism, and have terrible customer service. Facts here, you can decide for yourself - my reservation was accepted and fees were charged. The following week this agency contacted me and said my reservation was cancelled because they got another longer booking (with this agency your booking is NOT SECURE, stay away from this agency).
Nearly a month has passed and my fees have not been refunded. I've called and emailed several times - they cancelled me and still they have not refunded my fees. This agency will not refund your fees. Wells & Bennett Realtors Lake Tahoe is unethical and unprofessional.

I wish I read the terrible reviews this company received before I booked. Should have known better. We booked our trip in February to fly out to Lake Tahoe from CT. Unfortunately less than 60 days from the trip reservation wild fires caused hazardous air quality and I reached out almost two weeks prior to our reservation to discuss this. I was misguided by the staff at Wells and Bennet.
We ended up cancelling our trip because the fires worsened and so did the air quality. My family and I did not want to travel with our 1 year old daughter and elderly mother out there. They were unwilling to accommodate and or refund any potion of money. Extremely unprofessional via both telephone and through messaging. I will never book with this company ever again.
It was an unfortunate climate / weather related circumstance that caused us to cancel our trip and this company made the experience even worse. DO NOT BOOK with them. "Wildfires are common knowledge."

This company is not honest. They tried to charge me for carpet cleaning when the carpet was disgusting Before we got there. They said they were going to have the insurance company pay for it. The neighbor was also extremely noisy. When we tried to complain, our call was not returned. Won't do business with this company or stay at the condo again.

I had a very bad experience with this agency. I wanted to rent a house for a Christmas week and I requested a quote from Saturday for 7 nights. The lady wrote to me that I should move my dates and come on Friday. I told her that I cannot do that as it meens that my kids will miss school and I have to take an extra day off. In response she wrote to me that they are renting only from Friday otherwise I should go somewhere else.
She didn't proposed any other solution either like maybe coming only for 6 days. This is so rude and unprofessional towards the customer who wants to spend few thousand dollars. I think there will be lots of families with kids that couldn't move their dates because of school. And the agency's unwillingness or undesire to recalculate the price shows that they are not as kids friendly as they say on the web site. Also, what the owner of the house will say when he will learn that he just lost a few thousand dollars. Homeowners, be ware whom you trust your properties.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Lake Tahoe, and Tahoe Rentals helped make our vacation perfect. The house was as advertised, neat, clean, and on a quiet, secluded cul de sac. It came complete with a BBQ, Hot Tub, and an outdoor fireplace. Can't say enough - nice people, reasonable rates, and a truly awesome house. We'll definitely book with them again!

Wells & Bennett has managed our west shore cabin for the past two years and we couldn't be happier. Their staff is professional, efficient, responsive and pleasant. They have kept our cabin rented out and have done an excellent job of vetting the guests, so we haven't had a single problem.
