DO NOT RENT WITH THIS AGENCY! Apartments are incredibly small, extremely unkept, outdated, and most importantly, Caleb comes up with lies, says one thing, then turns around and states the complete opposite contradictory of what he already stated which in my opinion, is dishonest. This makes him and the entire company not worthy of any type of credibility whatsoever based on statements he makes representative of himself and this company as a whole, and ultimately, bad for Good Business.
If you want honesty, sincerity, realism, and anything else that could possibly go along with exceptional quality of even simply just good standards for not only achieving "just" good customer service but also in where you decide to make your home sweet home, I would highly, and sincerely urge everyone to go elsewhere than any of Old Town Square Properties. I'm so thankful I've chosen to go elsewhere! You just cannot call these places home. Guaranteed!

I live in a town house across from one of their properties and a giant red no parking sticker was placed on my vehicle. I was in a non parking zone thats my bad, however, who needs a giant red sticker on the drivers side window?! Do you not have letters or something to put on the front windshield wiper? Basically vandalizing my car, then was told by someone on their phones "someone must've gotten a hold of our stickers", like what kind of business are you running?

Unfortunately, customer service is not their strong suit. Calling their office just to confirm they've received your payment is an endeavor that will leave you in a sour mood afterwards. Now, I know that some customers can be a pain, but the people whose job it is to provide customer service do an abysmal job of handling even the most respectful and kind customers. Very unfortunate. If you have any respect for yourself, you will not subject yourself to the way this company is ran. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

Awful company. Waited two hours for them to come do a walk-through. I asked maintenance to put my screen door in storage when I moved in because I didn't want the dog to destroy it, then they apparently lost it and charged and me for it. I never had any notice if I was getting any depost back, until 30 days after I moved out. Even then I only foun out because I had been sent to collections already for an additional $200 they demanded above my deposit for "carpet cleaning", despite my receipt from a professional cleaner. ONE MONTH after I moved out. So they destroyed my credit too. Absolute evil.

We lived in Scotch Pines for three years, and we had a great experience. We did not experience any of the management horrors people warn you of when renting. Maintenance was responsive and quick. We had an issue with a neighbor, and Mindy had our back. At the end of it all, we received back our full deposit. Thank you!

I lived in Varsity Apartments for a year. There were a lot of problems. When I moved in August 2016 the place was a mess. It looked like it had never been cleaned. The carpet had bugs in them, the walls were dirty, and the shower had mold. Another problem happened when I decided that I was not going to renew the lease. I finished the lease through the end of July 2017, but my roommate decided to stay.
She found a roommate for August 2017, after my lease had ended. However, Old Town wanted me to waive my deposit and pay for this girl to come on to a lease after it had ended. Mindy was awful to work with. She was condescending, rude, and completely unprofessional. I thought she was just that way with me because I am younger, but she continued to be rude, agitated, and unprofessional with my parents when they tried talking to her. The rent is good. Maintenance was quick and helpful. The office staff was a nightmare to work with.

Our place was nice enough. Their security could definitely be improved though- my bike and several neighbor's mopeds from our complex were stolen, and there are no security cameras. However, my main issue was with moving in and moving out. When my roommate and I moved in, the carpets and many of the surfaces were filthy, but old town wouldn't get them cleaned because they supposedly had a record from the previous tenant of a recent cleaning (which they didn't/couldn't provide as proof), so we had to do and pay for a thorough deep cleaning before moving in.
When we moved out, the place was in much better condition than when we moved in; however, old town deducted half our security deposit for a cleaning fee. I had plenty of pictures to prove the place was spotless when we left, but since the pictures didn't show the interior of the bathtub, the kitchen cabinets, or the inside of the oven, they only relented $50 back still wouldn't return more than $200, which is absurd.
In addition, the security deposit check was only returned to my roommate, with both of our names on it, so that we both had to be present to cash it. Since I had moved states by that point, this was very difficult to arrange. Some banks don't even accept checks like this if you don't share an account, so this is a really awful practice for a professional business to still be using, and in fact, Colorado legislation strongly advises businesses against it.
Despite it being a nice enough apartment, the experience with their offices made me feel taken advantage of, helpless, and extremely frustrated. My advice if you rent from them is to take detailed photographs / documentation when you move it and move out, to call persistently and ask for a meeting if there are any issues, to call maintenance for everything even if it's minor, and to store your bikes inside it at all possible even if you live on the second floor and it's a hassle. Maybe get property insurance as well for specific items.

My fiance and are current renters at azalea town homes. i requested to see the laundry room before i signed a lease and was told no by Mindy as she didn't want to be inconvenienced to go get keys. well little did i know the other tenants have been asking for over 6 month before i moved in for the laundry room 3 washers and 3 dryers to be fixed. we moved in the 26th of march to food on our carpets. after Mindy said the had been professionally done. i found old white dog feces in my back yard after being told my place was cleaned. i made them aware no response. i have been contacting maintenance and Mindy every week. i have said the laundry room has eaten 2.00 every week and i was being lied to that they were repaired. so i believed and continued using them to have my money stolen. a sign was posted 2 weeks ago saying that in two weeks they would be replaced. NO SUCH LUCK. I ALSO HAVE BEE REQUESTING THE MY GARBAGE DISPOSAL BE CHECKED WITH NO LUCK. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE.
