Furcron Property Management

The thing is I wasn't expecting how they managed the bookings see we got a room at some condos which where beautiful and clean but I had to pay 10$(per person) on top of the 500 something on the room for a wrist band to use the pool I also had to drive 2 miles away from the booking to pick up the keys and take the keys all the way back again I've never booked like this before so I went to return the keys and there are no drop off indication I called and was upset because I had to leave the island quick for other reasons (keys where 100$ replacement so I couldnt just leave them) anyway I call and I was upset because I couldn't just leave the key with the condo people I had to drive in and they opened at 10am it was 9 no indication again of where to leave the key if the office was closed so I called and a girl answered and I was like ma'am I am trying to leave the beach but no one is here she was like leave it in the drop box I said there is no sign that says that she was starting to say there doesn't have to be which I find odd since there should be for emergencies but other than that I can't say I would do it again I'd rather book directly next time the website didn't mention a third party so be aware photo is of key in the drop box Incase "they didn't find them"

The condo was lovely but the pool was dirty. At check in Margie was on the phone gossiping with a friend, didn't articulate herself clearly & then was annoyed with us when we asked questions. Mind you this is even after she knew it was our first time renting with her company. She said there wasn't WiFi available & there was. When I called to inquire about the pool being cleaned from all the dead bugs she was short, passive aggressive, & completely incapable of providing decent customer service. Not to mention the strong paint fumes from the renovation next door.

Property manager is completely and utterly consumed by favoritism fining people who did the most minute things, while people who are actually breaking the rules and multiple ones he could care less about. He will make your life here hell if your not in his pocket $$ but could care less about the rest of the people who are. Its actually quite sad because the HOA's are REDICOULAS then he wants to start fining for dumb things and just turn a blind eye to SOME people $$ if you know what I mean Its really the only reason that he would pick and choose who to give breaks to and who to fine for the absolute most ridiculous things.

The whole staff at Furcron realtors helped to make our vacation on South Padre Island the best vacation our family has ever had.

Someone in the truck of this company was driving around like a complete jerk (speeding, passing people going reasonable speeds on wet streets) on a public street while kids were playing. I understand that tourists are frustrating, but if you're going to be an aggressive driver don't do it with the name of your business on the side of your vehicle.

I can't believe that there are not more reviews of Furcron. My wife and I have used Furcron for South Padre Island condo rentals for 4+ years. I can't say enough good things about them. Seriously.if you're considering vacationing on SPI, don't even bother with a hotel. ESPECIALLY during "peak" times (Summer, Spring Break, etc.) Rent a condo from these folks.

At the end of the day, you'll wind up paying just about the same as you would for a halfway decent hotel, and you'll have the niceties that accompany a condo (full kitchen, more space, varied locations, etc.). Furcron is top-notch. Their staff is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, honest, and friendly. Check-in is as simple as a few signatures, and check-out is as simple as dropping your keys in a box.

We've rented 6 different condos from Furcron, and all have been excellent in every way. Even though the locations of the condos they manage are scattered throughout the Island, you know what you're gonna get. Their condos are consistently great.
