South Padre Real Estate

Had to try a banana boat while visiting South Padre Island for the first time. It's being decades! Lol! It was a lot of fun! They take cash only, and the ride is about 20 minutes. There was almost no wait, and they were very professional. Cash only. I do think that the best part is the thrill of falling or almost falling off. I went with another 3 ppl.

There was a kid and an elderly woman. The jet-ski rider that mainly operated everything was very nice and helped us to get back on it after we fell out. It was about a 20 min ride. Totally worth it!

Perfect location a block from the beach. Beach is lovely, not crowded and kept very clean. The house configuration is good, there is also a loft hangout enjoyed by kids. AC works great. Kitchen easy to cook in, but bring a sharp knife! We have rented this house 6 times. Need a few more bath towels though.

I rented a beach house with a pool this past weekend, from May 6 to May 9. It was not cheap at all and I rented it because I wanted a beach house with a pool due to we were having young kids over and thought it would be easier to have them at the pool than put at the beach. I called Spi rental about the issue of the pool being filthy and after 3 hours someone arrived.

The pool guy just added a powder to the water and said it would be clean within an hour or two and to wait at least two hours to get in the pool. Well we all waited 3 hours and got in the pool and after a few minutes a bunch of my family members and few were kids had to get out fast due to a rash that the pool water caused. The next day the water was still filthy.

The third picture is of the beach house next door to where I was staying at and our pool look nothing like it and cause children ranging from 4 year olds to 13 year olds rashes including adults. I also got the beach house to celebrate my sons bday on May 6 and mothers days on Sunday and it was just an awful experience. I paid close to $1700.00 and it was not worth it for all the physical paid it caused. The beach house is located at 1401 gulf blvd.

The property was incredible. House was impeccably clean and the proximity to the beach was great. We could walk to the ocean in less than 3 minutes! The kitchen was beautiful and stocked with all the necessities. Beds were comfortable, master bedroom was huge and so gorgeous. We loved the private pool although it lacked some privacy- the neighbors watched us from their balcony each day.

We loved the patio and grill with the view of the ocean. Had to contact SPI once because Ice maker wasn't working, they came right away and fixed it. Super fast check in and easy check out process. It was an amazing stay and we hope to come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 month stay this past winter. The unit is well furnished, had a wonderful view, and except for Super Bowl Sunday it was very quiet. When we needed maintenance, they were very quick and polite. Some furnishings are well used and need to be replaced. SPI Rentals was wonderful to work with.

We had a group of 24 and we loved the house the heated pool and hot tub! the location was awesome- we walked 5 min 1 way to the beach to watch the sun rise and 3 min the other way to watch the sun set. would def book again-Thank you!

We stayed in this lovely spacious house for a family gathering. The house is new and very clean with plenty of room to spread out. The check in process was smooth. No complaints except I would like to see an effort to recycle plastics, glass etc. in the rental property and on SPI in general. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This condo was awesome! First impression is everything, my family gave me an A+ for such an awesome place for vacation! The condo was very spacious, clean, and accommodating! The location was perfect next to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The amenities such as pools, hot tub, and gated community was excellent as well! Thank you, highly recommended!

Had an awesome time at this condo! SPI Rentals was super amazing! I did not know where to start looking and a friend recommended them to me and the service was excellent! The reservation agent was able to pick through which condo would be best for my family and I! Check-in was very smooth! All the staff I had spoken too were very helpful, from making the reservation, to check-in, and giving us good selections on where to eat!

The condo is amazing, the view is directly to the bay view, but from the how the tower is situated you can see the beach as well with just a turn to the left! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was super convenient! The living space was very large, and everything was comfortable! The kitchen was open concept and was great! The counter top was amazing, and each family member loved the rooms and beds!

The grounds were amazing, especially at night when the pool and spa are lite and there is a lighted pathway for you to get to the beach directly! Highly recommend SPI Rentals and will book with them again, will also stay here again in the future!

Thank you to SPI rentals for making our first trip down here one to remember. At first when we checked I looked at everything due to the times we live in you can never be too sure. Everything checked out well, and the grandkids loved their room. My only concern was the wifi was spotty. SPI sent someone over and got the issue resolved (I am not to tech-savvy to begin with and wanted to make sure the kiddos had connection). Loved the views, we could not have been any closer to the beach. I was skeptical as I see mixed reviews but my opinion to you is, do not judge a book by its cover. We will return next year!

The rental company was so easy to work with. They sent everything quickly from contracts to check in instructions as soon as our unit was ready. They even had after hour contactless check in that was perfect for us. We will be coming back and using them again. Our condo slept 6 comfortably with 2 bathrooms, roomy great room and plenty of dishes in the kitchen.

The beach is steps away and we had a perfect view. The owners had a few chairs, and toys that just added to our beach experience. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. We can't wait to go back next year!

I usually rent hotels when traveling, but this time I decided to go with a private condo. The customer service is great! Whoever picked up the phone really helped me with deciding what condo to stay in. She had a lot of input, and knew the place well. Its nice to talk to someone local that can give you their honest opinion. During our stay there was an Island wide power outage, SPI Rentals right away notified us by text and kept us in the loop of when the power would return. We stayed at Beach house complex and really enjoyed it. I will be using SPI Rentals again.

There are some all-stars working here for sure but some of the others need to step up their game. Had many issues checking in. Pretty frustrating for sure. Mistakes happen but they NEVER answer their phone and you go to the back of the 1 hour line outside in the heat every time we return. We did that 4 times. The house was great, the in house staff, great, bummer it started so rough and we did not feel like the people that waited on us cared that we were not happy. Just shut up, you all are on vacation is kind of the feeling they invoke.

Avoid this rental company like the plague. Our unit at GulfPoint Condominiums was not as promised. AC leaked all over the bathroom floor, the unit was not well maintained (stains all over the walls, damaged doors, a mattress that is literally broken, tephlon pots and pains with rips in them which makes them hazardous to cook with), we had been there for 36 hours and were finally able to call this morning to request a one night refund since we had to book a hotel to actually get any sleep.

They refused because we had not repeatedly called to ask them to fix the issues. I'm not sure at what point were supposed to enjoy our vacation? This company is a ripoff and your money is better spent at a hotel or through a different rental company. We will also be calling AirBNB corporate to file a formal complaint against this business.

I had the best stay in South Padre Island. From the moment we began the booking process, the staff was super helpful finding the perfect property for my stay! We were so close to popular attractions. We even rented a golf cart, as SPI Rental guests get a discount on rentals too! The property has a private pool which was perfect for our comfort and privacy. We could've extended our trip another week! I would highly recommend SPI Rentals for your future travel plans. Best vacation ever!

This by far was the WORST AirBNB we have stayed at. The price was very expensive but we were willing to book since it advertised a wonderful pool and hot tub. Upon arrival the pool was FILTHY and so was the house. A huge bag of dirty linens and towels were left out. They made so many excuses as to why the pool was in that condition and even said that BEFORE we got there they tried putting chemicals in it WITHOUT telling us. TOTALLY UNSAFE. I will never book again with this company and I recommend families don't either.

1st time visiting with family and it' was beautiful. Enjoyed easy access to the pool and beach. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Good security, the rooms where spacious and very clean. Good choice if staying for long periods of time

I'm one of the home others they represent. I'm new to this. They walked me through the whole process of getting my property to rent. So many details! Now that we're renting they regularly inspect it and communicate any issue straight away. They keep it tidy and in tip top shape for our guests enjoyment as well as my peace of mind. Thanks SPI.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I had called this company to rent a condo for a weekend trip, (as of yet still working on when, due to COVID) but they have been really helpful with the process. Yes there are fees that if you book are non refundable but this is with any company (VRBO, AIRBNB ETC) you need to look at this prior to renting anywhere.

When we decide when to rent we will be going thru this company they do have some great rentals and quite a few to choose from. Give this company a try you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend the beautiful properties at SPI rentals. They are top quality and the service staff is second to none. Any request is received graciously and taken care of right away. I enjoyed my stay with our group at 111 E. Esperanza very much. Beautiful, clean, spacious and well-appointed 7 br 4-ba 2-Villa house at great rates! The location is close to an awesome beach access point. Check this awesome place out!

Wow, don't rent through these guys. I rented a "luxury" property for my family and paid an exuberant amount for a house that was for all accounts kind of icky. Despite a cleaning fee of 400 bucks, we found half a dozen cigarette butts in and around the pool when we checked in, grease stains above the stove, grime streaking the cabinets, and my bathroom was infested with tiny ants and the shower leaked all over the floor.

The house was missing trim and had smudges, gouges, and scrapes all over the walls. The TVs didn't work (someone came and fixed the downstairs tv to be fair, but the tv in my room didn't even have a remote) and the hot water heater completely died leaving us with no hot water for almost 24 hours. SPI rentals were difficult to get ahold of to report the problem and the head of maintenance, Ken, was rude to me over the phone and seemed annoyed that we wanted hot water for the rest of our stay. David, was pleasant to work with and had better customer service skills and eventually the new hot water heater was installed.

Everyone had taken ice cold showers by then, just to get the pool water off. We didn't have hot water for almost 24 hours and SPI Rentals didn't offer to refund any portion of our money. I rented through Airbnb and left an honest review of everything that happened and since SPI didn't want it to affect their rating, they found a fun loop hole where they simply didn't rate me so that my review never posted. Smells like a scam to me, so here I am on google since we did in fact rent from SPI Rentals. Attached are photos.

On the plus side, the pool was nice and there were plenty of towels. It's easy to walk to the beach from here but be advised that you still have to check in and out at an office to get the keys so there's no remote check in during a pandemic. The house is okay, it's just old and needs updating and better cleaning after guests. It's just not worth what they're charging. My other review was more detailed, but since they wouldn't post it on Airbnb here is the short hand account.

I rented a condo for $1100 bucks from this company and then cancelled a few days later. I took a hit for more than $400 of non-refundable charges, but the worst thing is they still charged my credit card for the full second payment even after they stated in writing two times that they wouldn't. The only recourse I had left with was to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

The problem(s) are with SPI Rentals. I can not stress my incredible disappointment with this company. If you expect any kind of basic customer service, communication, or accountability do not make reservations with SPI Rentals.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the company's inability to fulfill your booking 48 hours prior to your arrival, you'll be taken care of by a front desk person, not management. Front desk personnel is very kind and accommodate you to the best of their ability. When you explain to front desk personnel that members of your party are disabled and seniors, personnel will assure you that your last minute accommodations (which they dropped the ball on) include a functioning elevator.

Only to arrive and find out within less than 24 hours that the only elevator in your second choice of condominiums is being torn out and repairs will continue for the week. You only discover this from RIO ELEVATOR REPAIR person in the parking lot. There was no notice of repair anywhere in the building and SPI RENTALS did not notify you and also seemed unaware and dismissive of the fact.

After making multiple phone calls and unable to speak with management (yes I immediately requested management as to not subject front desk personal to duties or objectives that they should not be held accountable for) I still have not had a return phone call from management. When presented with the third condo, I took it upon myself to view it. It was vacant of guest at 10:30 am but not available for check in until 4pm, after reaching out on my part to SPI RENTALS.

At no point did they reach out to our family to notify us of when the condo would be ready. I feel that SPI RENTALS is negligent of the American Disabilities Act, dismissive of seniors, the handicapped. lacks any sense of urgency, has zero capabilities in communication and is untrustworthy. Please do not spend your hard earned money and precious time with this company. If you are interested in the rentals listed by this company, please reach out to the property owners.

Worst experience ever. The security guard in The Villas is extremely rude and curt. SPI rental does not answer their phone. We got the keys from them at the office and when we got here the key didn't work. It is absolutely ridiculous to pay $1,700 for 4 days and this level of Motel 6 service.

We booked online through Trivago to booking.com and they were very diligent on contacting us from our first inquiry then keeping us updated in advance on the steps we needed to complete prior to arrival. We were very impressed at how detailed the instructions were and the Sapphire Luxury Residences were totally 5 star accommodations a huge 3/2 condo with beach front view and full kitchen stocked with everything you need for the beach or poolside. Downstairs was 2 pools and even kiddie pool, they had an Easter egg hunt for kids all ages when we stayed over Easter weekend.

They truly covered all the bases! When you arrive you go to Spi offices down the road few blocks to check in then you drive to Sapphire to get your keys at front desk you can drop off suitcases and hit the pool or beach or you can drive a mile down the road and stock up your huge kitchen to enjoy meals at home too which is great for our big family.

Also the convenience of countless shopping centers and restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining all within walking distances or riding if you prefer a golf cart rental! You have to check it out for yourself they surely will not disappoint.

My family and I decided to rent one of their house ubicate at 123 Georgia Ruth st and we're very disappointed with SPI staff because we spent a lot of money for 3 day more than $ 1'500. 00. To get a wonderful vacation but won't be like we expect. The neighbors next to de house put a complain every single days and they automatically came to let us put the music low that inciden was at 5pm, came on "" it's a Friday and Saturday, we are on vacation with our family, they tell us if we not put the music low we have to leave the house, to me that not the reaction to expect for ISP, they have to let the neighbor, that kind of house is for rent, for people on vacation, of curse we want music and party, let me tell you this if I want sleep or watching tv I don't spend my time driving more than 20hrs or my money, believe me. ISP has to put in the contract this house is just to rest the neighbors don't like the music, the neighbor don't like Hispanic people, I don't want a writing here the offensive words that that gentleman told us and of course ISP did not do anything about it, only to us it came every single day, they came to scold us, we pay you, it is you who have to tell the unbearable neighbor to hold it, oh the owner of the house, not to rent it for holiday purposes, I will never go from Florida to Shouth Padre islad to waste neither my money nor my time.

I won't recommend to happy people going throw ISP for rent a house, South Padre Island has a lot of company probably they defend you and take in care for you make that beach unforgettable.

Great customer service from selecting a condo to pre- arrival communication to dealing with minor issues after checking in (stuck door/ broken lamp, etc). Easygoing and service oriented. Very responsive. Won't hesitate to use again! Will skip the car rental and get a golf cart from them next time though :)

Booked our four-person golf cart online before our trip. From what we could find, these were the most reasonable prices on the island! Our golf cart was spiffy and our kids had a blast! The staff was friendly, and we had zero issues. Highly recommend SPI rentals!

Perla and Jose were very nice to work with. RENTAL PRICES for Golf Carts are higher in South Padre Island ($250 per day) than Port Aransas($75 per day). So getting over that shock was the first thing. SPI Activities was one of the more reasonable outfits we checked. GOLF CARTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEACH This was the second thing we discovered. Perla was very kind and helpful and told us how we could get close.

One reason we rent a golf cart is to take gear down to the beach! TOWING COMPANIES TARGET GOLF CARTS Boy was this a really unpleasant experience! AND COSTLY $350! to get the cart out. I parked our SPI Golf Cart in the Seville Hotel lot to unload gear. I was gone 45 min, too long, and A-Pro Towing was contacted. Someone was just waiting for me to make that mistake. Perla called me to warn me what was happening but by the time I saw her message it was too late.

The enormously over weight man at A-Pro said, "Have a nice day". Really? CARTS BREAKDOWN This a fact. SPI ACTIVITIES did the right thing every time, they replaced the cart without a hassle. Good Luck with your Golf Cart experience in South Padre Island. I know I won't be back anytime soon but if I do, I'll go to SPI ACTIVITIES.

First off we get to the SPI office for check in today at 4 P.M. only to find out our condo is not ready. Saida IV condo #4204. My husband, 4 children and I, hot, tired, been on the road for many hours. Finally get the key and arrive after 5 P.M. only to discover that the condo that we thought we booked was not this condo, meaning the pics that we seen while booking was not of this.

This condo 4204 is disgusting! We feel totally decieved. It appears as if it has not been updated since the construction of this whole entire building, or even a fresh coat of paint. Not to mention the smell. The toliet handles look like and function like they could break at any moment. The BBQ grill on the balcony, well I wish that I could post a pic of it.

It is so very Rusty, you would need to get a tetanus shot if used. So much for grilling on vacay, right! As well as we had to even purchase this evening flat pans. As well as, towels and wash cloths because there was a very limited amount. I am sorry but I as a mother and on vacation I don't want to have to worry about washing towels and wash cloths for my family everyday.

We ended up buying Clorox wipes and Lysol as well. We paid around taxes and all 1,900.00 for 6 nights 7 days for this disgusting, nasty place and here we are. My children are asking me, could we get bed bugs. I do Not recommend Saida property nor do I recommend renting from the SPI rentals, which we booked this horrible condo from. My thoughts. You go on a Vacay, you expect it to be nicer than your own home. Never again!

I gave this place three stars because even though the room we chose said ocean facing but really was facing their pool. The housekeeping staff does not clean very well. Nasty rug, thank god it was only a small rug. The electrical plug points were mostly lose if not working at all. For the rental price I expected something slightly better. The room floor plan was not bad but bathrooms were tiny and off-course water pressure in showers were horrible. But one thing there were plenty and that was towels! I don't think I will book this room from this rental again. It was Saida 3202.
