This lawyer was the worst and most dishonest lawyer in my case. He destroyed and ruined my case. I agree with others that the supposed "good" reviews are fake by his employees and buddies. He has also likely hired a "reputation" company to delete genuine but bad client reviews and game the Google review system.

Want attorneys that think they are to big to call you back. Took my class action lawsuit said I had nothing to worry about. One week later never heard anything else from them. Been calling for months leaving messages with their secretary saying they will call me back they NEVER do. I THINK THEY LOST MY CASE AND DONT HAVE THE COURAGE TO TELL ME THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. ITS PATHETIC.

My 5 stars are for Attorney Tyler Belong. I needed law services, I Google "Best Attorney in San Diego" and Hogue & Belong came up with 5 stars. Mr Belong helped me with my case, he was very professional, he patiently litsen to my situation and proceed to explain to me my options. He took the time to advise me and explain the process, making sure I understand every single step.

He knew all the stress I was going thru and calmly assure me not to worry, that everything was going to be fine. Mr. Belong always took my calls and answer all my questions and concerns, I really appreciate that! He was constantly in communication with every single update in my case. He was on top of my case, always called me before making the next move to make sure we were on the same page and that I agree to it. Tyler Belong was great! Anytime you need an attorney its not going to be a fun time but Tyler made it as painless as possible. His office smelled of rich mahogany and he had a smile that just seems to make you feel like everything is going to be ok. He seemed to know what he was doing and that made me feel much better. I checked a lot of other attorneys and they seemed to need "to check on that" or "get back to me" when I had questions. Tyler seemed to know the answers to almost all my questions. I may be a little biased since he won the case he was working on for me, but I still wholeheartedly recommend him.

I came to them desperate, from a referral, after having waited for a different law firm who did not get back to me after weeks of trying. The HB&L attorney failed to reply to several emails. When I finally got him he asked me to compile a bunch of background information, which took me hours. Days after he promised to respond, he still had not responded.

I reached out and finally he called me. On our conversation I could tell he hadn't given attention to even the 12 bullet summary I provided, nevermind the backup data I provided. He had the facts wrong, etc. Ultimately he said he didn't have time to work on the case and insisted he could refer me to someone else. I asked him if he was sure he would have the time to find a referral, he insisted "yes" he could, that I shouldn't find someone on my own, and he'd reply within a day.

Three weeks went by and I never heard from him. These people are completely insensitive to the vulnerable position their clients (and potential clients) are in. By definition, their client is at the end of his/her rope and has already been through a lot before considering litigation. The client needs to trust the professionalism and advice in an area they may know very little about. I'm not asking you to install a garage door, and can just move on to the next contractor.
