Commercial Investment Properties (CIP) is a family-owned company that was founded in Lincoln, Nebraska. CIP's history dates back to 1938, when the Austin family started a small business that focused on brokerage services, insurance and managing a number of single-family homes. In 1965, the Schleich family purchased the company, known at that time as Austin Realty.
