This is a company that lazily dispatches maintenance workers to apartments which they manage but don't own, and that's it. They don't care about you. They don't come to the property themselves, nobody assesses what's going on at your complex. They don't care if your heater is broken for weeks straight in December, they don't care if your neighbors are yelling profanities for hours with their doors open or letting their dogs bark all day long every day, they don't care if your bathroom is covered in mold, but they surely will raise your rent in the middle of a global pandemic. Housing is a basic human necessity. Let people have dignity. You take half of their monthly income for this.

We have had a great experience with PJ Hussey over the past year. Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. When maintenance help is needed they are quick to respond, friendly, and get the job done well. Overall, we've really enjoyed living in an apartment managed by them. We recently renewed our lease, and as of now plan to do so again next year.

Started working with them on a quote late November/Early December. They came out on Dec 13th and talked through some great ideas. They left our house and promised us a detailed quote within a few days. We were excited! And then. never heard from them again. No quote. No followup. We've emailed several times over the past month and not a peep. Glad to get the ghosting out of the way early before we handed over several thousands of dollars.

Had a great experience selling my home with Ashley Everts, Andrew Thruston and the P. J. Hussey team. They personally took care of the whole selling process for me. Since I lived out of state, I did not have to worry about a thing. House sold quickly and painlessly. They gave me consistent updates and made sure I stayed in the loop. I would highly recommend their services and would use them again.

PJ hussey construction did a total remodel on our Home. Including removing walls and special designing of new cabinets. Our GM Eric was keeping us informed on everything each day. All the people we worked with including the owner was very professional in every way. Thank you all for a great job on a very large project

AVOID THIS PROPERTY on WILLETTA! Broken down, horrific customer service and lack of responding due to failure of addressing high-level issues within the apartment. If they do respond, it is painted over, quick fix, and returns again to be of issue. A rental management company that is a shame to the community. High rent yet refuses to handle the rodent issue in my mother's unit.
I see a history of complaints that I missed when we moved our mother into this unit. The amount of emails, service requests, and calls is a full-time job. At the heart of the issue is we have owners hiring basic companies to handle a service that is sacred. A home is sacred. Ellacia Maxey and Valaria Lopez have been nightmares to work with. The head of Office and Maintenance.
Quality is not a priority. Care is not a priority. Empathy heeds to exist. Ultimately, they don't care about the tenant. The patron assistance was in full swing when we were first moving in my mom and has since steadily continued to decline at a high rate. They allowed a woman with severe mental health issues to harass my mother and allowed her to live in the unit next door after we had taken this individual to court and received a protective order. I am highly disappointed in the female leadership and the lack of energy and urgency to the rodent issue my mother is facing.

We purchased new flooring just before the covid crisis struck, and had to postpone the job for over a year due to high risk health issues. April worked with us on changing dates until we felt comfortable having crews in the house. They were understanding and solicitous, and when the job was finally completed this spring, we were so pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the friendly and professional crews who did the work. We highly recommend PJ. Hussey and will use them again in the future.

PJH construction was an excellent choice to get repair work completed in a professional and skilled manner fitting us in their busy schedule. Victor was an excellent drywall craftsman, Colton repaired our front wall, and Alex prepared our bathroom floor cement and skillfully retiled the floor. All 3 men were professional skilled craftsmen. We would highly recommend this company to others.

Worse property management company ever! They apartment we rented from is filled with crackheads and suspicious activities. Had i known this place is like this, i wouldve went elsewhere. Called and emailed PJ HUSSEY about the problem and they dont anything about it. If i could give NO STARS i would. Absolute garbage

This is by far the most corrupt and unethical property management company I've ever had to deal with and I STRONGLY advise people to NOT do business with them. I have dealt with a few of their customers and they treat people terribly. They rent out filthy damaged properties and find reasons to kick people out of their rental properties by using scare tactics and lies in order to make financial gains always at the expense of their renters.
During COVID they slipped further and further down the scale by not following through with promises made and by providing rentals without cleaning them or properly fixing damages. Their properties are rarely in move-in condition leaving their tenant's the burden of preparing the rental home prior to being able move in. If you choose to do business with them I highly warn against it because 95% of their tenants end up regretting it.
Please do your homework and look at their other reviews on Google. They are as dirty as they come and so are the properties that they rent out. Also, if you need further information regarding how heartless this company is please read this news coverage of them kicking a sick elderly couple out of their rental during Arizona's State of Emergency due to COVID.

Channel 15 just did an investigative report where PJ Hussey doubles the rent in an elderly couple when their lease was to be renewed dieting this pandemic. How horrible. What company with any ethics would do that? They also increase the deposit and Gabe them only 30 Days to move. Someone tell this company we are having a pandemic. This is a travesty.

Not a great experience with this property management company. My husband and I signed a lease with them a year ago and thought things would be great as we had just moved here from California and were stoked off this new experience. The last few months have not been ideal to say the least. Our unit is one of the newer and most renovated units. There have been multiple times where the company has sent someone to our door to come take a peek inside, without any notice.
Communication is almost nonexistent when it comes to trying to reach the property manager for our place. We have been led to voicemail multiple times without a phone call back, have emailed multiple times and have been told they never received anything. It takes weeks to get someone to look at something or to get a response. To pay our rent online it's 25$, which is absurd.
Anything that was being done to the area, no notice given. There was a car parked outside of our complex that was there for three months. They did nothing, I even tried to get local police involved. Recently we came home to find out that, without notice, the property management was changed and a new company took over our complex. We were so happy to initially work with PJ Hussey as they were so friendly in the beginning, but over the course of the year the staff became hard to reach, unfriendly and rude, and gave no communication.
When it came time to renew our lease, we were telling the company that we were going to come in to sign our lease and put a new name on it. Well they decided to go ahead without our approval and hike our rent up and submit it to the company that is ta Our initial lease amount was was VERY DIFFERENT from what we were paying. It took months to get a revised lease from them.
I would not recommend them, the only plus side from this is the owners of the property are friendly and caring, and we now have a new property management team which we're excited to work with.

I own a number of single family residences in the Phoenix area and have gone through a couple of property managers who have made bad mistakes. Last year I switched to pjhussey and have been very happy with their expertise, rapid response to problems, excellent bookkeeping records and monthly as well as end of the year info for my accountant. Art is on top of the monthly reports and Patti handles the properties as if it were her own. I'm very satisfied.

The property is great bang for your buck. I live in Tempe and the neighborhood is great and super quiet. The PJH staff is cool. They always answer my calls when I need something. However, my main guy is Tom. Tom is a dedicated hard working maintenance man who always puts in 110% to make sure I am taken care off. He worked really hard to fix my water heater during the holidays and I appreciate him for taking that time. All of my neighbors love him because of his passion for his work :

My water heater wasn't working. They sent Tom to fix it. At first I thought it's a small problem, but it turned out to be something major (it was a very old heater, leaking water, broken pipe and all that) and they had to get a new water heater. Tom worked the whole afternoon to make sure the new heater fits to my old/small space. He was so polite, patient, and hard working. AND he cleaned everything up after the work (including my apartment and my yard), didn't leave a single mess. I really appreciate his work and effort. Thank you Tom!

I'm actually giving Scott Hudson (maintenance) a great review because he came to fix somethings that haven't been working or either just needed to be fixed. He took his time to explain things to me and did some good work taking his time on the projects. Me being 7.5 months pregnant, he even went above and beyond fixing something that I pointed out while he was here and had no hesitation doing it.
Thanks Scott! The only individual at the office I found VERY helpful or useful was Alana. For her, I'm going to go up a star. She is so sweet and VERY prompt about returning my emails or helping me with things that no one else seems to help with. My husband even gets put off on someone else when he calls then it takes another 2 weeks for someone to get back to us. Shout out to Scott and Alana. Thank you!

We had PJ Hussey remodel three bathrooms, install a built in desk, and paint the exterior of our home. Andrew and his team took great care of us and the job is turning out beautifully. This property management sucks! Do not rent with them. I hasn't been 1 year yet and I cannot wait to brake our lease. We been struggling all year long trying to get things fix for our unit. We are currently with no AC and the manager Alicia wasn't been very helpful. It's been 1 week since we gave them a notice to come out and fix our AC.
The technical was out here twice but nothing got fix. Last night we waited for her call back to let us know if she can get someone To come out but once again they didn't bother calling us back like always. I have a 2 year old living in this condition and it's 95 degrees inside the apartment. We are now taking legal action because this is unacceptable to anyone to live in this condition. Last time the water heater broke down and they didn't fix it until 2 weeks later! I repeat do not rent with them not worth it!

*if I could leave less than a star I would. But yelp won't allow* Well let's see. Where to start. They don't return phone calls. Lawn care is non existent. When you call maintenance that a/c is broken and its 95 in your house - no response. Continual emails that you owe a balance, even though you pay early. if you want to pay online there is a fee. No one actually maintains the portal website. No upkeep on physical property. After my lease is up - I'm out.
