I entered into an Option period to purchase a home, and come to find out through inspections that there was 2 previous electrical fires in the attic which were attemped to be concealed by nailing new wood to the burned wood during a recent re-roof, and siding replacement. This information was not disclosed on the Sellers Disclosure. I brought this to the attention of the listing agent (Julie McCoy), and the broker (Karen King), and neither seem to see an issue with the fraudulent demeanor by the Seller (Xavier Gonzalez).
I requested to have the $100 Option money refunded and they refused, as I would not have placed an offer on a property with fire damage which was caused by electrical issues (that still exist). This is very shady, and unethical behavior to say the least. The Disclosure has still yet to be updated to bring this to the attention of another potential buyer, and as such, I will be reporting both the Agent and Broker for ethics violations, and to the BBB. DON'T TRUST ANY OF THESE SHADY PEOPLE - BUYER BEWARE.

For 11 Years i allowed this company to represent me in the leasing of a rental property in Corpus Christi Tx. The original person i listed my property with was great Mike, Unfortunately he left one year into our commencement of a business partnership. Denise Gallimore then represented my property as the rental agent. All started great then quickly diminished into a nightmare.
My property was never inspected as per contract with group one, I was constantly billed for work that was suppose to have been done and even though I never refused payment or a repair my home was practically demolished by renters. The yard was never maintained which was part of the contract and this could have simply been seen by doing a drive by, the interior of the home was demolished. Holes in the beautiful hardwood floors and walls, plumbing broken, carpeting had to been torn out, water damage, cracked tiles on and on.
All this could have been avoided by doing the inspections as per contract every 6 months. I blame Group one management for the destruction of my property. They are lucky I live in Seattle and have no time as I would have filed a lawsuit for breach of contract. My home was in such bad shape that it was uninhabitable after terminating my contract with Group one.
I also asked Group One to sell my home after the last tenants, still i was never told the actual condition of the home. Denise said the home should be listed in the mid 200K but never got an offer. Finally I had enough and fired them and hired another local real estate company. They told me the condition of my home which I just couldn't believe Finally my wife and I drove out to Corpus and I was in tears once I entered my property.
The condition was beyond belief. Im sure not once had they gone to the home to do an inspection and I have no idea who the hired to do repairs as I paid 10s of thousands over the years to keep my property in excellent condition. Bottom line i had to sell the home for almost 100K under real value. This was a investment property which before renting to the first person had been completely remodeled and in a beautiful condition inside and out.
If you are a property owner stay away from these people. Denise Gallimore is horrible and doesnt like to speak to her customers the owner of the property and apparently the renters. She is horrible at communication and therefore this is where you end up. The owner and manager of Group One Corpus Christi must be as bad as they never wanted to speak to me regarding my property. Again if you have an investment property saty away from Group One, by the time you see your home yourself it may be condemned.

I have had Group One manage my rental property in Corpus Christi Texas since 1991. during that time they have provided nothing short of OUTSTANDING service to both myself and my tenants. The outstanding communication has always instilled confidence that my property was well cared for. In the over 20 years of service I have only had less than 1 month of vacancies. Repairs are always done quickly, preventing any further damage, or tenant inconvenience. Thank you Denise Gillmore for your dedication to both the Property owner and Tenants. Group One is Second to none.

Horrible customer service. Typos on a contract that you have already signed, really? Several health hazards; exposed wires, holes in the ground, old keys. They are just trying to make money and if you have a problem they will tell you that you can live somewhere else. Great management skills! I don't expect a new house but if I am paying $1600/month it should look like something that you wouldn't be embarrassed to have friends over. I have rented and owned houses before and this is not how you keep clients happy.
