Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Do not trust this company's policies. They do not disclose vital information on the other home sharing apps they are on. They stole over $1,000 from my family when trying to cancel because they lied about their cancellation policy on AirBnB.

If you want to be swindled and lied to, book with them. Dont book on Airbnb or trust their cancellation policies. They want to keep 50% of the booking even though we abided by the cancellation policy they left on Airbnb which was 14 days before check in or before December 22nd. Now they are ignoring our calls and messages. This is completely unprofessional. Dont use Airbnb they dont care about this their customers and this company is a joke. They claim that they have their own cancellation policies, which is fine, but post them on all your booking platforms, dont deceive your customers for your own profit.

We just rented a house (1917 Lakeview E) from Lakeside Home Rentals for a long weekend (Fri-Tues). Saturday afternoon we no longer had any hot water. We reached out to the 24 hour emergency number, no answer and no response. Finally on Sunday, after multiple attempts of calls, emails and Facebook messages they sent a "carpenter" to look at the hot water heater.

The water heater needed to be replaced. No one ever came to replace the water heater and no one ever responded back to us. We ended up having to cut our trip short because of not having any hot water and the toilet in the master bathroom leaking. The house was also filthy even though you pay a "cleaning fee" it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. Now it has been 2 days since we left and still no response from anyone.

We stayed at house #629 at the Poconos. Overall, good experience. Pros: - Nice deck to the lake. - Big equipped kitchen for cooking. - Weber Grill. Cons: - House need some maintenance (you can tell several things were not maintained for along time), especially the 2 bathrooms. Also some things are broken like blinds. - There was no light outside for the deck and for the porch with the grill.

There were motion based lights but they did not work properly, this was very disappointing because grilling/sitting outside after it gets dark was impossible (we grilled one nights with flashlights). We did not receive a proper response from the company/owners about this.

Stayed at 1207. Was a beautiful view of the lake; sun early in the morning and shade in the evening. Had everything we needed and there was many things to do. Driveway was very steep so be cautious in the winter. Big beautiful kitchen table, perfect for board games and family dinners. Would absolutely come back.

Everything was amazing! More then amazing! The house was huge and super clean! We had things that we could use that we had forgotten at home overall we all had an amazing time and it was 20 of us. We were amazed with the backyard overlooking the lake, the rooms were fully equipped, kitchen equipped, the employees at Lakeside Home Rentals were spectacular ESPECIALLY Stacey and Anthony! We will be coming back next June! 5 STARS!

Wonderful location, great service! Beautiful community full of great amenities, absolutely gorgeous lake. Reminded me of my childhood days spent on our dacha. Highly recommend it! :

This place is the worst. It is filthy dirty, covered in spiders, cobwebs, dog hair.you name it. The dock is a joke, the boat ores do not allow you to actually row the boat. The is only one light down by the dock and no lights on the way down to the water ( all are broken). We wanted to vacuum as the floors and furniture were disgusting, but the vacuum doesn't even work.

The beds are the worst part of all. There is only one bed in the entire house possibly made this century. The beds down stairs are box springs, basically. If it weren't for the good company we had, our entire vacation would have been completely ruined. PS: It's for sale, good luck with that. They wanted to show it while we were here! Asked us to straighten up and get out while they showed it. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

Excellent location on large private lake. House was clean and large as described. Wonderful experience. Staff was welcoming and courteous. Would definitely recommend this business to my friends and family. We will be using their services again soon!

Terrible, wish I could give them zero stars. It is a dirty dump. The place was full of spiders, dirt and dog hair. The beds are all old and worn out. You will be better off camping and sleeping in the weeds. Losers.
