Our cottage had not been cleaned upon our arrival and we had to wait over an hour for housekeeping service to clean the unit. This was frustrating because we were unable to unpack and relax after several hours of driving. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy the island and festivities.

This is the second time we have rented from Parker Kaufman Realtors. The house we rented was beautiful and very clean. The realtors were very easy to work with. We will be renting again.

This was our first time renting with Parker and it was basically a nice cottage but it needed some updates two small rugs in the kitchen had very unsightly dirty stains. The rental company responded quickly but for the amount of money can't believe they were that careless about the appearance we encountered upon arrival. Rental was ready for updates of several things. Not a bad experience but will look elsewhere next time.

We have been renting houses on Jekyll for over 50 years with our extended family. Our experiences with Parker Kaufman have always been positive, They're always easy to deal with. very responsive to any need. The Breezy Cottage is our favorite to rent in December when we visit the island.our happy place!

We rented one of the Villas by the Sea and had a wonderful time. We did encounter an issue during our stay but PK Realtors handled it better than we had hoped. Loved the Villas, the view, the pool and the close access to Driftwood Beach.

Merritt and Donna continuously take wonderful care of our property on Jekyll. We've rented out our place through them for a few years now. Renters vary, of course, but Parker Kaufman always strive to make this the absolute best experience for not only the owners, but the wonderful visitors who come stay on Jekyll Island. They go above and beyond continuously and for that, my family and I are grateful. I Highly recommend working with them!

We rented SeaSuite on Jekyll and it was just fabulous. The accommodations were beautiful and clean. We had one small issue with the unit that was resolved quickly. I would definitely stay at this location again and use this company again. The process was seamless and went off without a hitch.

My husband & I stayed on Jekyll Island for the first time in October 2021. We stayed at the Breezy Cottage and were more than pleased! Everything was immaculate and welcoming. The proximity to the beach, bike trail, and market place was ideal. We hope to come again.

We had made plan to stay at Village by the Sea Resort but when we got there our room was upstairs and we couldn't get a wheelchair up the stairs to get in. We went back to Parker Kaufman and they had a home on Beachwood that fit our needs. The Home was Beautiful and had everything we needed. Donna and sorry don't remember the other lady at the front desk name, but they Both went above and beyond to help us get a place that would fit our needs. We were there on the island for a conference, and with there help it made a bad start to a Wonderful Stay. Thank you So Much for everything you did for us.

I have rented through Parker-Kaufman for years. Although I had not been to Jekyll in a few years, Parker-Kaufman was still the best. My trip had to be changed due to my having emergency heart surgery and the staff worked with me to reschedule and they were great. They are always helpful and ready to answer questions about rentals. I highly recommend them for rentals on Jekyll. They also told me, when they recommend our rental that it had the best view of sunrise and they were so right. It was spectacular every morning.

I will not use this realty company again! I reserved a house 8 months ago, for my upcoming vacation. The house I rented was damaged during last years hurricane. Even after the hurricane, I received a confirmation e-mail with no mention of the damage and that there was a possibility that I may need to make a change. Since the email had no mention of damage, I felt assured that my vacation was still going to happen without a hitch. 60 days prior to my arrival date, I received an e-mail that stated that the house was under repairs and that it may or may not be ready for my arrival. "please let me know what you would like to do".

No solution offered, no compensation - NOTHING. When I spoke to them, there was no empathy, no sympathy and no concern on their part for ruining a time I had been looking forward to for 8 months. Of course, 60 days out, the selection of homes available are slim and none meet my needs. Thank you Parker-Kaufman for ruining my plans! In the past, I used Jekyll Reality and they are the ONLY way to go!

We recently rented a house and the two main reasons were it was advertised there was a pool and the house was "updated". There was a pool but it wasn't heated. Sort of tough to use a pool in the winter with no heating. While it wasn't advertised as heated Parker-Kaufman mislead by not clarifying it WASN'T heated. Second, the house had NEVER been updated & was very unclean.

While the bathrooms and floors had been cleaned the house looked like it hadn't had a "Spring cleaning" in a decade+. I'll give Skip credit in that he offered a discount credit but we felt the advertising was misleading.

My family and I have rented vacation homes on Jekyll Island from Parker Kaufman for ten years. Until last fall, we were happy with their service; however, our last two experiences with them have been less than satisfactory. Last October, the cleanliness of the home was terrible! When I mentioned this at the realty office, I received blank stares. No apologies, no offers to do anything about it.

The gentleman kind of gave me the cold shoulder. Just last week (week of June 22-29), the refrigerator was not working properly. We had to through out about $75 worth of food. Frank (same gentleman) came out to check. He was very condescending, rolling his eyes at me, and basically telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about. Frank really needs to work on his people skills. At this time, we are seriously considering going to Jekyll Realty. We do go to Jekyll at least once a year.
