So far this has been a very smooth transaction. I was searching for a site that does not charge the renters a fee to use thier service such as VRBO, HomeAway and Airb&b. I think this is very unfair as the property owner is already paying the fees to list. I was confused at first as once contacting OwnerDIrect they told me they had to collect $91 and the balance of the deposit was collected by the property owner.
I thought, well here we go again.but in actuality, that $91 fee is part of the total deposit that is owed. Basically it is how Owner Direct gets paid up front is my understanding. What I was most impressed with is the fact that the response time was fast by both Owner Direct and the property owner has been a pleasure to work with.
