I feel like the negative reviews here are for a different management company. They dont match up at all with any experience I have had. I've rented all my life, and I've never had a better experience than here. Their response to any repair issues I have is quick, I mean, I can place it at midnight and get a response at 4am. What is that? They have been incredible with anything I need, our property is well maintained, and not a single time have I had to bother them more than once for anything. I love everyone I talk to, they are so helpful and responsive. Honestly the best renting experience I've had. Love my rental!

I gave four stars only because the property wasn't renter ready prior to me moving in. However, Paula has been very easy to work with. Any repairs needed have been made in a very timely fashion! In fact, my water heater was old very old and not allowing the water to stay hot more than 10 minutes. Not only was it replaced but the company came out on Christmas Eve to do so. Although, that was not so good for me.but the fact that my property owner and this management company took my concerns seriously was appreciated! Not sure why they're getting such bad reviews? I can personally say I appreciate them very much! Hopefully, this will remain a positive rental experience!

We've been contracting with Cornerstone for more than 5 years. I've worked with many management companies over the years, but Tom and Cornerstone are bar none the best in terms of responsiveness, professionalism and ability to deal with complex site problems. Cornerstone manages our property for a relatively low rate, and yet still goes above and beyond in terms of site work, emergency response, tenant relations and contractor bids.

Never got a call back to clarify the reason for denial, even after appealing. half a million liquid in a bank account and credit rating of 740. Which they sent a letter verifying that that was fact. Waste of money and of course I know, no refunds on apps. let alone the fact I drove from Palm Springs to view the space, the agent blew off our appointment no call back or explanation, still I was cool and really interested in rental. Sucks.

I was a property owner and hired this company to be my property manager. It was the worst experience and makes me not want to deal with property management companies. They have gone through at least 5 different property managers in the 2 years that I have been with them. It has been 7 months since the property has been rented and their attitude is that they don't care.
It went from summer to winter unrented and they didn't send anyone to check and make sure the property was properly winterized. Needless to say a pipe burst and the whole place flooded. I then was charged material that I did not approve and since they had changed managers once again they told me there was nothing they could do. I definitely regret ever hiring this company and would highly suggest anyone looking at them be prepared for the worst.

I feel compelled to comment on some of the negative reviews on Cornerstone PM from a very happy client. I couldn't be more pleased with this management company. I started using Cornerstone 5 years ago to manage SFH. They found a quality renter right away who is still in the property. Everything is seamless to me as a client. The rental checks come in and I deposit them!
All issues are dealt with and I never have to be involved. They are responsive when I call them with questions and they are efficient you really get the personal touch from Tom and staff. If I do have a question and ask for Tom he immediately picks up the phone or if he is in the field calls me back as soon as he is abe to, I really appreciate his work ethic and committment to customer service.
They have made sure the property is clean and being taken care of with regular visits. I recently called Tom regarding an issue I had with the Assessors Department. He called them for me, got all of the information and called me right back. I was so grateful for that, he really went the extra mile for his client. From a client, owner's perspective this is a high quality, well run property management company that I sometimes take for granted.
Many of the reviews I read show me that Tom and his crew are DOING THEIR JOBS and, of course, there are some unhappy people as a result. It's not easy to do an eviction or something thats so emotionally charged. It's a dirty job and someone has to do it.!Don't take the reviews as fact or consider the perspective from which they are written. If you are someone who is going to rent a property Cornerstone manages and you are thinking you might not pay the rent or comply with the lease, this might not be the management company for you! You probably won't be happy with the way they are working to service the owner of the property. Give Cornerstone a try, you won't be sorry.

If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. They are THE worst company of ANY kind that I have ever dealt with. I should have taken the lack of responsiveness before renting the property as a warning. They charge a cleaning fee after move out when they never cleaned before move in. They do not answer the phone, are sparse with email replies. You would literally have to email saying the property is on fire before they respond.
Be warned if you decide to rent from this management company be prepared to have NO communication when things need to get done. And I assure you there will be items that you discover that you weren't aware of before move in. I wouldn't move into one of their properties if they paid me to live there.

Upon inquiring about a particular property, I received an email back giving a day and time for a viewing asking me to confirm. I immediately replied that we would be there for the scheduled viewing and made special arrangements to leave work early to make the viewing. Upon arriving at the time given, no one was present. After 5-10 minutes we attempted to call and received no answer.
Since they say that email is the best way to reach them, we sent an email as well. We waited over 30 minutes with no one showing and again attempted to call and email a few times to see if something had happened with no response. After the weekend, I attempted to call again and got a voice mail leaving another message. We have still received no follow up or response regarding the no-show viewing or our interest in the properties.
All we are looking for is a follow up as to what happened and how we could schedule viewings. However, if this lack of responsiveness is an indication of their customer service, we are hesitant to lease one of their properties.

Very grateful for Tom and his staff! Found our way to Cornerstone, as we realized we were in way over our head. We inherited a condo with a tenant already in it. We soon realized that our tenant was a professional tenant, and we were too gullible, too nice, and too inexperienced. We were stuck in a cycle where we were spending a lot of money trying to fix things that coincidentally begun messing up when rent was due.
Not only were we spending lots of our money, but the rent was no longer being paid and we were accused of everything from health problems to retaliation. We found Cornerstone Property Management and figured we'd see if they would take us as clients, we were highly doubtful they'd take a property that was turning into such a mess. To our surprise Tom was not only understanding, but even reassuring. Tom helped us through the ridiculous mess we found ourselves in.
He and his staff took over all communication with the tenant, all repairs, and eventually all eviction paper work. As our case became a court eviction battle, Tom was professional, prepared, and on top of things through each court appearance and appeals. Cornerstone was professional, courteous, and helpful. They responded to emails in a timely manner and kept us updated on all happenings. Cornerstone Property Management is very knowledgeable and great at what they do. As a property owner, I could not have asked for anything more and I easily would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.
