We purchased a home in Mashpee. MA, while living on the West Coast. Margo & Company was hired for summer rentals for this property. We couldn't be happier with everyone on her team! They have always been professional and helpful! We have been impressed how responsive they have been to all our texts, emails and phone calls. We have needed Margo's expertise to select renters who fit our criteria. She has great judgment about people and understands the Cape Cod market. thoroughly.! We have been fortunate to work with her, and highly recommend her business.

I dealt with Margo personally on several occasions regarding a year around house rental. I also dealt with her office mgr who was nice & seemed capable but was basically a deer caught in the headlights, completely rendered helpless for fear of repercussions from her boss, Margo. I found Margo to be a cold, calculating, greedy, broker with ZERO Customer Service skills, diplomacy, honesty or kindness. She clearly does not care about anything but money in her pocket. Ask around, MANY MANY people who have dealt with her share my experiences & sentiment.

I cannot say enough about Kathleen Boudreau and Margo & Co! We are moving in from out of state and required a suitable accommodation (we have pets!) while our new home is remodeled. Kathleen was attentive and sympathetic. She quickly got to work, found a place for our family. We are so thankful. Will definitely recommend them to anyone needing this kind of assistance. A+ from me.

Caveat Emptor The rental through Seaport Village Realty has not lived up to the statements of Ms. Piscano. It is noteworthy that we have not seen her in the six months since viewing the property as she communicates only electronically during the night. In at least six visits to the office she has not once been present. It is possible the lapses were genuine on her part as she often appears unaware or even confused as to circumstances among clients. Fortunately her secretary, Ms. Moser, has been a consistent presence and has had no such trouble. Unfortunately, Ms. Moser does not seem to have the authority as the realtors.
As examples, we were assured by Ms. Piscano that basic repairs would be complete when moving in. However, it took over one month to have operational stove burners and over two months to have a working dishwasher. These were effected only with persistent effort, including office appearances and a certified letter. The discussions on the negotiated rates were also "forgotten" by Ms. Piscano four days before the move, resulting in a "compromised" higher rate.
More alarmingly, Ms. Piscano did not provide a Statement of Condition. She stated we should occupy the property "at least two weeks" before providing a list of problems. Yet Massachusetts Law requires any statement of condition on the tenants part to be submitted within 15 days. Here again, no response (as required) was issued from Seaport Village, despite their handling all documents for the landlord during the move-in process.
We have never found it necessary to research housing law to protect ourselves or to get the most basic repairs completed. We chose transacting through a real estate agency to forgo such hassles. One can only hope this business experience is isolated; still it remains shameful. Ms. Moser has been attentive and thorough. The business might do well if she operated it (de jure).

We went through Seaport Village Realty this past summer to rent our house out by the week. Our agent was Margo, and she obviously does a lot of business in the area because I've seen her posts all over craigslist, and there are a lot of agents who have an email address that ends in @margosells.com. However, she did less than nothing for us. She came by in June to take some pictures and we never heard from her again.
We also never saw our property listed anywhere. Needless to say, she didn't rent out house out a single time for the ENTIRE season (June-September). Do you know how hard it is to rent out a house by the week on Cape Cod? NOT THAT HARD. It's pretty easy actually. We will never go through this company again. If you want to give your money to a bullshit agent who will do nothing for you, I recommend Seacoast Village Realty.
