I responded to an ad on Facebook Marketplace and Gabriella from Mark Roos got in touch. Gabriella was super responsive, professional, and gave me an array of options to choose from that all fit my criteria. I feel like a lot of agents will stretch your criteria and offer you places 100-200 above your budget, but Gabriella never did that. She was able to set up a series of tours for me so I could see a bunch of places all in a single afternoon.

I ended up applying later that night (tonight) and she's continued to assist me through the application process. I definitely recommend Gabriella if you contact this agency directly. She's great!

Gabriella was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of renting! As college students who have no experience with finding an apartment, she was with us through the entire process step-by-step and made an overwhelming task seem super simple. She was also always available to talk whenever we had questions/concerns. We found a great apartment in Beacon Hill and are very happy with the help we received from Gabriella and MRR!

Marc Roos is by far the worse realty company I have ever dealt with! If you want your hard earned money stolen from your own eyes deal with Marc, your contract will mean nothing.

Stay away from this dishonest company unless you like to be yelled and cheated. Their agent, Catherine Park, teaches me a big lesson: once you have signed the lease and paid the one-month deposit to them, they can do whatever they want to you. People won't bother to hire a lawyer to sue them for a few hundred dollars. The unscrupulous agents know this very well and try to take full advantage of it.

Mrs Park is not only irresponsible and bossy but also dishonest. During my term of lease, she enjoyed to tell us what to do by threatening with deducting our deposit. In addition, she basically ignored ALL my requests for maintenance and unblushingly told me the issue "is not a life-threatening matter." What is even more ridiculous is she deducted my deposit for the item she did not fix.

As we had disagreement with her, she yelled at me like a psycho. And she promised us some benefits before signing the lease but broke it at the end. Anyway, learn from my lesson and keep away from this company and the agent.

Just found out that they broke into our apartment to take pictures. They're supposed to give a 24 notice. We didn't receive a single notice. Illegal, unprofessional, and straight out low.

Unprofessional and rude. Perhaps the folks here are used to dealing with idiot students, but I'm a 41 year old divorced professional with no children and a stellar rental history, my apartment related questions are valid still unanswered, (what floor is the unit on, can I bring my own laundry appliances, what is the utility estimate) hence there is no reason to be rude to me. I'll take my business elsewhere Linda Ruggiero.

Realtor leaves lots of keyword dump descriptions on apartment search sites like Zillow, making it hard to find the real search results. What a jerk

Terrible service! Worked with Andy Chao and was very disappointed. Showed up to view an apartment and he had to double check the code to the building, had to check the pricing of the apartment, and didn't know if there was laundry in the building. Went to see a second unit in the same building later that day that he said he scheduled a viewing for, but the viewing wasn't confirmed.

We ended up having to bother the people living in the unit, which I felt really bad for. He also said there was 2 bathrooms for that unit when there was only 1.5. Very disappointed with the service and lack of information.

I literally met with 15 realtors and saw over 25 apartments when Andy Chao showed me the apartment I ultimately ended up renting, on our first meeting. He was very responsive and quick to get answers to my multiple questions. I also work a pretty hectic job and he drove to my office vs. me having to come to him, when I had paperwork to sign or payments to be made!

My new landlord is a bit difficult-- lots of red tape and extra steps to the leasing process because he's a lawyer-- but Andy "warned" me in advance and played the middleman to save me from some of the grief. Let's face it, moving stinks, but working with Andy made the process as pleasant as it could be! His willingness to travel to me (vs. me always having to go to his office) was definitely the icing on the cake and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again when I move.

Didn't end up renting, but Gabriella, the realtor who showed me around, was very professional, accommodating and enthusiastic! I would recommend her services to people looking for a place.

We went to see an apartment on Beacon Street with Linda Ruggerio and we loved her immediately! Linda was warm, helpful and very friendly. She always answered the phone and explained/helped with our paperwork during the whole process. She even came in to the office when it was closed to help us out. We ended up getting the apartment we saw with her and overall it was an excellent experience. I would highly recommend her!

Sam Ho from Marc Roos Realty called my house and texted me at midnight to confirm an appointment. I couldn't believe the audacity of his rudeness to call so late for a non emergent reason.

Sarah Seminara was professional, personable, responsive, punctual, and thorough. She helped us find a place that really suits us, and she took the time to have coffee with us and review all aspects of the lease. We highly recommend!

Sarah Seminara was very helpful in our apartment search which was not easy. After seeing dozens of awful places from other agents affiliated with different real estate companies she swooped in to help us. Many real estate agents didn't bother to get back to us at all on listings we were interested in. After putting a deposit on a place we loved and then having the owner decide to give it to a friend instead we had lost all hope. Sarah ended up finding us a place we really like. I highly recommend Sarah Seminara.

I've been meaning to write this review since May, so I apologize but better late than never. Sarah Seminara was realtor and she was above and beyond excellent. I contacted quite a few realtors who said they would help me and didn't. She worked with me for two or three months, sending me listings that were in my budget and met my needs. Where I live now is everything I could hope for in a home.

I have excellent landlords who respond quickly, a quiet street and a charming apartment that may be the first place I've really considered a home in a long time. The second she got this listing she held it for me so I could see it first and it is perfect. Anyone who works with her will truly be working with a wonderful personable person who goes above and beyond to meet your needs! Thank you for finding me a home Sarah!

This review is specific to Jared Walsh and Darin. I went through 3 realty companies before I worked with Jared and Darin at MRR, and all of them were horrible: didn't respect my price range, told me I could afford more than I could, and told me that if I absolutely HAD to stay within my budget, all they could show me were shitty apartments. Awesome.

Then I magically found Jared and Darin and literally landed my dream apartment (within 24 hours of working with them!). They went completely above and beyond to help me, and were incredibly respectful and honest throughout the entire process. I highly suggest those looking for an apartment work with one or both of these guys, as they have easily been the BEST I've worked with, and I've been renting in Boston for 5 years.

This review is about Sarah Seminara. I had neutral interactions at the office and a strange interaction with another realtor, but Sarah is the best. I needed to move in a flash last December and responded to a Craigslist ad. She got in touch with me right away and I was viewing the apartment within a day. She has since helped me and my lovely new roomies with questions, concerns, and finding our next place.

I have experience on both sides of the landlord/tenant divide and Sarah is masterful at her job. She is also incredibly down to earth and a very warm personality. Always puts me at ease! I know that if I move in the future I will seek her out.

For anyone who has tried to rent a decent home or apartment in or near Boston, close to public transportation, and who will allow a cat.well that is not an easy combo. I discovered that several realtors were just willing to tell me to get rid of my daughter's cat and then they could find me a nice place. One Sunday morning I saw a listing that looked great.

I got so lucky. Sara Seminara answered the phone when I call Marc Roos Realty. Sara asked me questions about what I needed.she didn't focus on what would be easiest for her. She met me that day and made my needs her priority. Sarah really listened.she was aware of a home that was just coming on the market.a bit over my budget but she knew that the house met every criteria I gave her.
