This is an obvious older resort, but it is very well maintained! The view is spectacular, and the beds were comfortable. Great price for a two bedroom with an amazing view! Unit is air conditioned (being from TX- this was very important to us). We did not use any other resort amenities but did see lots of "kids" around and especially at the tennis courts.

We are a family of 4 with young adult children, we all sat on the very large patio every single night to enjoy the AMAZING sun set view. Very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again. Great communication and very detailed instructions for stay well in advance of leaving. Great VRBO experience

My husband and I stayed at their Kona Makai Condos for a week in June 2022 and it was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. It was reasonably priced, clean, and spacious. It had everything we needed - beach stuff, umbrella, extra towels, kitchen stuff, washer and dryer, and peace and quiet. The pool and hot tub were great and well maintained.

The grounds were beautiful - tropical plants and geckos everywhere and the property even has a lovely piece of rocky shoreline where you can watch the sunset. It has been such a relaxing haven for us, I'm so glad we decided to stay here.

WOW! What a Great Experience! We just loved our slice of heaven. Hawaii at its best! King size bed, walk-in shower, galley kitchen, living room, and a lanai. Amazing view from the Lanai. Tropical Courtyard, ocean view, fresh water pool, salt water pool, BBQ area. All gated and secure on Alii Drive, minutes from everything exciting yet private and Secure. Sunsets and Morning coffee on the Lanai are definitely Memory's I'll keep forever.

We rented a condo in Kona (Kalani Kai 109) with Knutson & Associates and was very satisfied with the quality of their service. The unit was super clean (big thanks to cleaning team!) and perfectly stocked - kitchen utensils, extra linens, beach gear, board games, extension cord - you name it. All instructions and information were provided and were easy to follow.

Welcome package with sweet treats was a pleasant surprise! Special "thank you" to Ellen from the office management who helped us with all our requests - very appreciated! Overall, we had amazing vacation and would definitely recommend renting with them! Thank you!

We stayed at the Kona Surf & Racquet Club and had a really great stay. The place is very spacious, and comfortable. There is no AC, but great big windows (with screens) along with plenty of fans really helped keep things cool. The only downside is, if you are a light sleeper, the birds are pretty chatty, and you can hear some traffic from Alii street.

The complex is very well maintained with lots of shared space, we used the BBQ area several times, and next time we'll be sure to bring our own tennis racquets and/or pickleball paddles! Knutson and Associates were great to work with as well, communication was great, and check-in was friction-less.

A representative met us at the place and she was incredibly helpful and professional--she even answered many questions about restaurants and such. The house and grounds were immaculate. Everything we needed was present. Linens were great. Beach towels were in a basket at the front door as well as in the closet. There was lots of room, e.g. 3 different dining areas if you include the pool area. Nice quiet neighborhood. Had a great time.

Villa Cinco is a great find. Four private master suites. Each with private outdoor shower. Terrific kitchen. Beautiful open concept from kitchen to indoor and outdoor seating areas with ocean and coffee plantation views. Very special property with excellent privacy. Outdoor cat (with self sufficient automatic food supply) was great with our kids. Owners were very responsive when a couple minor questions came up and gave us some great tips about things to do on the island. A cheerful representative from Knutson met us at the property to give us a personal tour and answer any questions when we arrived. Highly recommend!

We've been using Knutson & Associates for over a year to manage our vacation rental home in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island. Blake is impeccably organized, responsive, personable, honest, and always takes care of anything that arises. I appreciate the quality and work ethic of him and his company. His staff is pleasant to work with and is always very thorough and professional.

We have excellent reviews because of his company, as they really care about giving our guests the best experience. I highly recommend working with Knutson & Associates; they have exceeded our expectations.

I did reach out to Blake shortly after writing this review and he responded quickly. After speaking with Blake I did recieve a call from James who understandbly had some things going on I was unaware of so I changed my review to a 3 star because the communication berween Blake and I was very good. He did explain his company would be more than happy to represent me in the sale. Ultimately I did go with another choice but for anyone using his services in the future just know Blake will do what he can to get thing going in the right direction.

Two stars, simply for the lanai. A/C was off when we arrived so unit was sweltering, stuffy, damp; it never worked properly during 23-day stay, either because of underpowered unit, locked preset, or some other reason. Temps exceeded 80F. many days inside so here was my bed for 23 days. on the lanai. Heck of a rental price for this accommodation! My travel partner had main bedroom; second bedroom had 2 hard-as-rock beds, inadequate air flow, and 1 bed was positioned so close to the closet as to make it inaccessible. Ants and spiders were constant presence on kitchen counters, even with traps set everywhere.

No automatic ice maker; we had to buy ice. Window covering in master bedroom window had slat missing so anyone walking by could see in. The partial wall in the remodeled master shower did not extend out far enough so we always had to mop the bathroom floor after showering. Shortage of towel racks in both bathrooms. TV had poor sound, no sound bar, extremely limited cable package, not even sure it was a "smart" TV, no DVD player.

Majority of cushions on couches/chairs/lanai furniture stained. Simple but much-needed items such as reusable grocery bags, bag clips, and lidded food containers were non-existent. There were only 4 beach towels and no change of sheets. The a/c vents were filthy and moldy. Two days after occupying the unit we notified the property manager of many of these issues and were either told to go buy the articles (beach towels/DVD player) and he would reimburse us, or in the case of the improperly working a/c, told that a technician would be called but if he found nothing wrong we would be billed for the service call.

When the technician did show up he came in without a mask and when asked about it he was offended and left without proper investigation the thermostatic controls. Blake Knutsen showed no interest in speaking to us about these issues until our final few days when he wanted to avoid a poor review. He said he would refund each of us (2) $300, representing less than 2 days' credit for a 23-day unsatisfactory stay.

I would not rent this unit again until the a/c and pest issues were resolved and new beds were placed in the 2nd bedroom. Temperature in the unit might be better controlled if an outdoor black-out shade and thicker indoor drapes were installed. I would definitely NOT rent from Knutsen & Assoc. again. In my more than 25 years in staying at different Casa units, this was by far my worst experience. and most expensive!

Good site, lots of purchase and rental options. It would be great if you could see the cost of a rental even if it's already booked just to know what the range of price is when you look again in the future

We rented a condo recently for our trip to the Big Island. We actually had to reschedule 2 days before due to illness and Blake and Lia were able to kindly get us into another condo a few weeks later without a problem. We were able to do a late check out also as no one was coming in that day. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely use them again!

Omg i couldn't pick a better spot for my vacation! Check in process and out was so easily done, easy access to property. If you want to feel like you are in paradise, this is the spot! Sunsets are the best and sleeping with the sound of the ocean is the best! Property is supper clean and has all the accommodations you will need! recommend. Excelente customer service!

Was able to book directly through site and after completing paperwork was also sent link for an app with reservation details, weather, suggestions, checkout info and contact info for any issues. Look forward to stay and all help they have provided. Update: Had no issues during stay, was wonderful and look forward to renting again.

This staffing group are the best I have ever worked with. I have not had an experience with a booking agency better than this group. They are A-1 for booking, cleanliness, and punctuality. Their room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Very centrally located to everything in KONA. They consistently touch basis with you to ensure you are comfortable and content.

And they showed the utmost in their generosity and hospitality. We asked for a couple extra hours on checkout day due to a late flight, and they graciously gave us "10" extra UNCHARGED hours. They went above and beyond with no questions asked. My wife and I WILL book with them again! BRAVO!

This place is absolutely amazing. The pictures matched what we saw on the website. We had everything we needed- utensils, towels, extra linens, beach chairs, a cooler, you name it. We loved having the comforts of home such as a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and workable tv. It truly felt like a home away from home. The manager was super responsive and accommodating. The location was close to everything too. When we return we will definitely stay here again!

We're so thrilled with our experience with Knutson & Associates in Kona! The apartment was even more gorgeous than shown in the pictures - so spacious, clean, and well provisioned. Everyone was so responsive and flexible throughout our stay. Our vacation couldn't have been more perfect - a stone's throw from the downtown area but secluded enough to feel private and quiet.

We caught some of the most incredible sunsets I've ever seen from our patio. I can't wait to stay with Knutson & Associates again and will recommend to everyone I know!

Had a great experience with Knutson and Associates, extremely responsive customer service. We stayed in the Keauhou Kona surf and racket club. Condo had everything we needed, from snorkeling equipment, tennis trackers, kitchen perfectly equipped. Loved the lanai, beautiful sunsets. Recommended for families and couples.

Knutson & Associates is a family owned vacation rental business. We hired them as our Property Management Company: let us tell you that this company is absolutely fantastic. They did a terrific job by fully booking our condo whenever we are away. Their service is impeccable: they are responsive and very professional, make the impossible to satisfy us and our guests.

We worked with several team members of Knutson & Associates and the experience was always amazing. We worked many times with Blake and we are so happy with his professionalism and seriousness. My wife and I made the best decision to hire and work with them!

Emailed the principal broker and owner to request to book a cottage that was posted on two other travel sites. He responded that he would get the best price from the owner. After two weeks, and several phone calls and emails to follow up, he raised the prices on the websites and did not honor the requested booking. I would not recommend this broker or konahawaiirentals.com

Our stay at the Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club was fabulous. The grounds are well kept, and the ocean view was spectacular. Blake was very welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend it. And if you can get a balcony with an ocean view, all the better!

We were able to find a perfect studio with Knutson & Associates! Before coming on island, we communicated through calls, text and email. The management group was very helpful and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We were able to request a video walk-through of the studio before signing any documentations. The process was super easy and stress-free. We have really enjoyed our stay on island and have not had any issues. We highly recommend working with Knutson & Associates!

Knutson was an amazing company to have manage my rental property on the big island. Their entire staff was extremely friendly and genuinely cared about your property as their own. Honesty honesty and honesty is a key thing, especially if you live on the main land. This company is nothing but that regarding book keeping, property upkeep, or any issue that arose.

It doesn't matter how big or small the issue would be with a guest, Blake and his staff would handle the problem and keep you updated along the way. That was HUGE for me, especially because I wasn't on sight to handle everything myself. I came from another management company to Knutson, and they handled the property transition and made sure all the bookings I had previously remained intact. I can't say enough good things about this company and recommend them to manage your vacation rental on the big island.

I could not have been more pleased with Knudsen Management and especially Blake, the agent in charge. From the time I listed my condo with them, I could not have asked for better service. I felt my property was well looked after as well as my renters. Any complaint was promptly and professionally handled. And they did a great job renting it regularly.

Nice location, condo is very clean and roomy, the view is worth the stay. Property management company is easy to work with.

I rented a condo last week from this company and so far we are very pleased with the process. The price seems extremely fair and Ashley was courteous and informative when answering my numerous paranoid questions regarding renting a condo sight unseen from the mainland. They sent over DocuSign in a timely manner and promptly removed the listing from the internet once we secured it. (Some companies will leave the listing up to continue to collect application fees.) We check in AUG 13 and I will update this review once we see the place. But so far so good! Thank you Knutson & Associates!

Dont use these people they wanted $1000.00 security deposit! and kept it they said for restocking fees for threadbear sheet i slept on and old used towels i used which were only 3 towels! extremely poor condition condo wtij no locking balcony doors buyer beware! this a i non use company! i was warned and should of listened!.another review!((ripp))off people check this reveiw futher down!

Unless you want to be parted with your hard-earned money quickly - avoid this organization at all costs. 4 years ago, I had the misfortune of renting from these people - the actual rental process was smooth, and they seemed helpful - they said they were able to rent us a property with our cat and our dog. We also paid the owner a premium each month for the privilege. Mistakenly, we left the lease with Nick at K&A we rented one of the units they manage, the hale kipa, for almost a week. there were some things that did not work, lights in the bathroom, dishwasher, toilets leaking and running all night, etc. we called them several times. they never called back or fixed things. we paid almost $900 a night and they did not seem to care about their clients. i do not recommend doing business with this company.

Knutson's have been managing our rental property for over 5 years. They have been honest & trust worthy & have acted promptly whenever a repair was needed or a guest required assistance. They have been in business here for many years & have upheld the highest standards! I appreciate their professionalism & recommend them to others needing on island representation.

I've been using Knutson for the last 6 months and they have been great. They are quick to respond and always answer their phones, which is not common on the island. I'd recommend them to anyone, so far so good.

Since moving to Kona almost two years ago I've been renting from Knutson and Associates. I found them through their mobile app on my iPhone which was nice since I started looking before moving here. When first arriving on the Big Island I rented a sensational 2bd 2ba condo right on Alii drive with spectacular ocean views in Kahaluu, it was an amazing location and living in one of their conveniently located rentals helped me learn my way around Kona town quickly.

Once my lease was up at that condo I was able to procure another place for rent from them only this time it was a house. The house is mauka and I couldn't be happier. Knowing they had both vacation and long term properties made my transition here much less stressful. I knew I could rent something short term and if I wasn't comfortable I could move on until I was able to find the right place for me and lock down a long term lease. It's unfortunate that people are writing negative comments based on experiences from years ago.

How can they even remember details clearly? Sounds personal. Was someone else dealing with them that no longer works there? All I know is that the property management team they've got now has been nothing but professional. Any time I've had questions or even when I wanted to re screen the door to the lanai.someone was there to take care of my problems promptly and they even scheduled maintenance around my daily life which can be stressful! THANK YOU KNUTSON'S. When I'm ready to buy a house I'll be sure to contact one of their agents/broker.

Knutson and associates managed my condo for years. However after several incidences of the condo not being cleaned and guest complains to my neighbors I began to consider a change. The final straw came when a they tried to up sell potential renter that I referred to stay in our place. The client wanted our place and when they contacted Knutson to arrange the booking Knutson pushed to up sell the client on another unit. I would not recommend this company.
