I've lived here for several years, and I honestly never want to leave. The staff and complex is amazing. Maintenance is so friendly and keeps an eye out for everyone. Michelle is so personable and kind. She goes out of her way to check on you and make sure you're okay if she feels something is wrong. I've never felt so safe and at home anywhere else. Wonderful community, and again amazing staff. Thank y'all for everything you do and making this place a home!

I have lived here for the last three years and have loved every minute of it. The manager Michelle Plata goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and taken care of in a timely manner. The office staff and maintenance personnel are friendly, kind and more than efficient, making sure every concern is handled promptly. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and always well manicured The location, people and proximity to all the amenities in The Woodlands makes every day living here a joy. I can't say enough great things about Woodwind Village and my time here. I just resigned my lease for another year. I love it here!

Had I written this review before the end of my move out process it would have read quite differently, unfortunately that is not the case. To be honest I really liked living here. Was the place perfect? No, but I overall liked it. So much so I wanted to give the company as much notice as possible when I knew without a doubt I would be leaving I give them 4 months notice and expressed how much I enjoyed their place.
I move out everything 3 days before my last day handed them the keys and noved forward waiting for a bill with some damages on it because I am a pet owner. A month and a half goes by and I get a phone call from a collection agent that I owe about 400 in damages and half a month's rent because they didn't recieve notice. Odd I remember vividly filling out the move out paper work 4 months earlier.
I'd have no problem paying for the damages but I refuse to pay for rent I do not owe because I did what I was supposed to do. I called the office was told the property manager would contact me and have heard nothing back. This shows me the true colors of who I was dealing with and makes me glad I waited to write this review so I could warn all current and prospective tenants.

After living in this complex for a year we started noticing many things we didn't like. Our neighbors where super shady & threatening other neighbors over parking spots & flashing guns. People stopped picking up after their dogs. Trash was being left in the parking lots. The complex added many spots that you have to pay $30 a month for. These spots were not anything special, the literally just put a post in the ground & decided to charge you for it.
So parking became very limited. The apartment itself, whoever renovated them, did a SUPER half hearted job. The paint jobs were awful. & they painted the bath tub which after about two months started cracking & chipping & becoming a HUGE mess after every single shower. Our ac was constantly breaking. We were in the summer months & have two kids. When the ac broke it got up to 79 in the night we put in a request & they told us it had to be 85 or higher for them to come out.
So we waited TWO DAYS for someone to come & fix it. The patio rails are super rickety & not secure. The nails on the baseboards of the patio stick out as if they weren't hammered all the way in. There's no park, but they have an entire volleyball court for whatever reason. & they have like two benches. When the manager was informed that we'd be moving out & not renews, their attitude became kind of rude anytime we had to talk to her. It was an ok starter apartment. But they raised their prices for whatever reason so I recommend going with another complex to get something better for your money.

I have lived here for 6 years. I call Woodwind Village my home. Michelle is a wonderful manager. The maintenance crew is the best. What little problems I have are handled quickly. At Woodwind Village you don't feel like you're in some big complex. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. I hope to stay here for many years.

We moved up from Houston without much and the ladies at Woodwind Village set us up with the cutest little one bedroom, into a two bedroom, and even got us to renew our lease. twice! (('nuff said)) great sense of community and the pool comes in handy in Houston, trust me! we will miss our perfect little woodland cottage.
