I just wanted to say that Laura is very helpful and seems understanding. When you talk to her about anything she is always willing to help and make you feel like she really cares what your having a conversations about. Thank you so much Laura!

Multiple problems with this company for my wife when she lived there. Management is scum. We had to get a lawyer to get her deposit back. Many of the same problems that are listed. We only got $80 out of the $500 back. The person who moved her in did not right anything down when she moved in a bout the lack of cleanliness, including her fridge which had leaked oil. Ryan would not get back to me until I had our lawyer deal with it. Ryan put faulty claims on there. DO NOT LIVE THERE! Find any other place!

This place is awful when you move out. They charged us $400 for cleaning fees. Which is 2 people for 8 hours each. I used to clean houses professionally and this is an absurd charge. We cleaned the house incredibly well. The only thing we didn't finish was vacuuming because or vacuum broke, and mopping because we had accidentally already moved our mop.

When we moved in we were told that if we cleaned to a reasonable extent we would be charged $150 for cleaning. Stupidly, I believed them because they seemed quite nice. The other fee they put on us was an $80 fee for "rent balance" which is ridiculous we always paid our rent fully. They said that we would get $10 off for every month that we paid early. So, we paid early.

But then we started getting letters that we owed them money. I called at least 4 times to address this, each time they said they would fix this but they still haven't. I called them several times, and e-mailed Ryan 5 days ago, to address these issues, and he still hasn't gotten back to me after I was told he'd get back to me promptly. They are pretend nice. If you decide to live here document everything, don't let these jerks gouge you.

Never a problem working with these great people. I love where I live and am very pleased with my life here. The benefits of treating people well and being a clean and trustworthy tenant cannot be overstated. It's important to remember that it is a business that deals with renters and needs to not be screwed over so there are safeties in its favor if problems arise.

It was an ok place to live. Everyone was pretty friendly when I had a problem or just a question. Quiet neighborhood too. My only suggestion is make sure you leave that place super clean or they will charge you for it even though I'm pretty sure they will charge you a cleaning fee anyways aside from the mandatory one. Hard to find a good rental company these days across the board. At least this was better than Hilton.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. They were overly nice when we were moving in and signing our lives away, but right afterwards became terrible! After having crimes, violence, and nothing but issues in one of their complexes, when it came time to move out they were BEYOND HORRIBLE! I had to call the police to our complex multiple times due to vandalism and domestic violence from other tenants.

Even the Cheney Police Department said the company is hard to work with and doesn't do anything about complaints. A friend of mine was even the manager for one of the complexes and when she went to move out they sent her a bill for THOUSANDS of dollars, claiming everything they could against her, who was an EMPLOYEE! Now here I am trying to move out and they are trying to take every penny they can suck out of me and threatening me with fines and fees and inspections I will have to pay for!

I have been a great tenant! Always clean, always pay my rent BEFORE its due and have never been a problem for them, yet they spring a sudden "pre-inspection" on me over a month before I am suppose to move out, telling me they need to see what they need to replace prior to my already scheduled move out inspection. Then they threw a fit when I asked to me present during any inspections done.

I have rented multiple times from different people, but this company has got to be the worst. I refuse to ever live in anything owned or operated by Cheney Realty Management ever again, and would NEVER let a family or friend rent from them. Absolutely disappointed with the quality of service and beyond disgusted with how they treat tenants. I would recommend anyone live in your car.

Do not sign on with them; and if you are dumb enough to rent from them, you better write down every single possible thing in that house that is not perfect and take photos during your move in inspection, and have a good lawyer at time of moveout or not only will you not get your money back, but they will charge you even more!

Never rent from this company. Ever. They will lie to keep more deposit, try to keep charging rent even after someone else has moved in, and everything else they think they can get away with to get more money. They have always been rude over the phone. Their apartments were not even up to code when we moved in! Their yard guys trap and remove cats, even if they are wearing collars (they threatened me to keep my cat inside with this info, so its not just a accusation, this is a confession) and they have sprayed weed killer all around my kid as he played outside.

Their manager never cleans up after his little dog, so there is poop all over near the playground. Several friends have left over the years, and none of them have a story that ended well. They have all be ripped off and exploited. But those are their tales, not mine. I regret ever having signed our lease to these sleazeballs. Don't do it. They are not to be trusted. If you do, find a good lawyer, because being a good tenant will not cut it.

DO NOT RENT HERE! I have rented several apartments in my life. I always strive to leave the places I rent cleaner than when I moved in. Before moving out, several people told us that Cheney Real Estate Management over-bills for EVERYTHING. I let them know I was aware of this, hoping they wouldn't do the same to us. Well they did. I've never had to pay money after moving out of an apartment before.

I was billed over $1600 after moving out of their run-down apartment. This was after they subtracted the deposit of $700. They also have a tendency of double charging, charging when they know they will be getting reimbursed by another company, and charging you rent even though they've already rented the apartment to another tenant. I advise you live in your car before renting from them. STAY AWAY!

I would never recommend anyone renting from these people. I rented an apartment from them for about 2yrs. It was nothing but HELL! I was disrespected, home searched by staff claiming someone lived with me at the time. Had mold issues in the bathroom. Staff came to fix by wiping off and painting over with white paint. Yep, that fixed it. These people have been screwing me over since I moved out.

I moved out over 3yrs ago and still paying these idiots! That house was spotless when we moved. Even took and extra week to double check everything and they come at me $3,000 bill. They even charged for painting and minor things that are normal wear on a home that has a mother and three children in for 2yrs. So many claims you could only imagine. I have never been around such dishonest people in my life!

Awesome well rounded company! Have been with them for over 4 years. Brenda has many years of experience and does an amazing job, has excellent customer service skills. The owners really care about you and do everything they can to make sure you are as comfortable and at home as possible. Would definitely recommend their team to anyone looking for a home to rent!
