I would never rent from this company again. They are rude on the phone and do not want to help address issues. Be careful that if you are paying for utilities that it is supplying power/water/trash only for your place. You probably will end up paying for everyone else's and the property management doesn't care or want to address the issue.

Thee Worst Way Ever to get Ripped off! My Daughter and I both paid the required monies towards a rental property. We passed all the checks required with flying colors. The Lady on a Tuesday called us to advise and schedule a viewing of property for Thursday mid-morning. My Daughter requested the time off (Corp job) only to receive a call from the Lady that our appointment had been canceled.
She stated the Owner decided to rent it out the day before. She went on even further to say that the Owner was there yesterday(Wens) and personally met and had chosen another family. I was upset naturally because of the fact that we made all necessary arrangements. No Apologies, nothing! We have never seen anything else in our budget since worth applying for.
They only have a handful of rentals. They do a soft credit, boom 3 points, and then look up YOUR Character, instead of looking at their own! Shame on the Business' and Corporations that are taking over. It's all about them making money, and now it can all be done at home, from your phone, without having to look you in the eye. Thank you for a HUNDRED DOLLAR waste! Times are tough and this Corporation takes advantage of people!
You allow 100's of people to apply for the same place when you only need One (1) Tennat per home. So very sad, SMH! I want my $100. That's just sloppy and unprofessional. M.Esser

I've worked at C-21 Commander for 36 years---in Sales not rentals! Tenants and Landlords always have different expectations. We have had 4 years of hard-difficult times--Hurricane Michael, & Covid-and very few contractors to fix anything---Just remember we are very secure and will be here a long time--come see us! We try hard to handle all concerns!

So my boyfriend and I applied for a rental. After getting the run around from one agent, who blocked communication with us, we applied again for a 2nd time for another property, this time having a different agent. After 2 days go by with no word from the new agent, we call to check in on the application, at this time we were told we were not able or rentable to rent from them.
They gave us no reason why, no answers when we asked and dodged our calls. We finally called and asked to speak w a supervisor( we knew we weren't accepted, but just wanted to know why). We had to talk to 2 people and the last lady said, the supervisor will get back to you today. The supervisor NEVER even called us. Our issue wasn't that we weren't accepted, it was we wanted to know why- nor the agent or any supervisor ever called us back. We luckily found a place and didn't need Commanders services anymore, but still never got a call back. Poor customer service, poor communication and lack of any supervision.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! This company is full of lying scamming losers. They will only take your money and not call you back or email you. If they answer they will transfer you to 5 people to make up more lies. They do very bad business and will be reported to BBB.

Melissa Walsh was our realtor and she was absolutely amazing! She made the whole process understanding and easy going for us being first fine home buyers. She made sure that me and my husband were informed on every little thing. Melissa is awesome and most definitely friendly. She makes you feel as though she is a friend through the whole home buying process and that is an amazing feeling. It's hard to find someone who cares and has a heart and Melissa is someone that shows it in every conversation you engage with her. I highly highly recommend her!

Applied For A Property Two Weeks Ago, No Email Response, No phone call, Nothing they just took my money and ran. I even tried calling them to see what was going on and no answer, they rented the property that i applied for but have yet to send me a email saying i was denied or if i was approved and able to move my application to any other available property. Very Disappointing.

The apartment I rented was a mess and owner did not fix it so after 4 mos I wanted to move out and not be charged for the years lease and get my deposit back. They got the owner to agree and I moved out with no extra cost and they are to return the full deposit. Apartment was VERY BAD but Century 21 was GREAT

Me and my family rented an apartment from them. At 807 highway 22 a we was paying to much for rent we had no heat for a while then when they put a heating unit still no good. The only thing we like about it was our next door neighbor she was sweet so dont rent that that place now they worry about getting 900.00 from us but don't care about people being cold. Alot of cold air coming in not insulated. Good we have a better place to leave now.

Edit#2: The issue was ultimately resolved despite difficulties. I chose 4 stars rather than 5 as I feel like the team was unprepared for this situation. However, excluding this incident, the team has been pretty knowledgeable and prompt, so I would still reccommend them. Edit: changing my review to 3 stars as Charlie has informed me that they will be resolving this issue.
Once the issue is fully resolved, I will likely edit my review again in the effort of fairness. Thank you for listening to your tenants. I've been renting with this company for two years now. Today I called my property manager to inform her that there is a dead decaying cat on the property. She told me that "they don't handle that" and advised me to pick the cat up with a shovel and throw is in the dumpster. Are you kidding me?
So rather than maintaining the property, the one thing the landlord has them do in exchange for their cut of the rent, they are going to let a dead animal decay in the front of the property? Fan-freaking-tastic. By the way, we are next to a school, and there are children that live on this property. So due to their negligence actually children are going to see this everyday on their way to and from school. Plus, we have no idea what this animal could have died from. It could potentially have rabies.
