Couldn't say enough wonderful things about Impact Properties! I've had the pleasure of working with several of their agents and each one seems to go above and beyond for those they work with. They also bring a high level of trust, friendship, stewardship, and value to each situation they are presented with. The people at Impact Properties seem to have a love of helping others and take great pride in doing so.

We bought a home recently and the sellers were represented by Impact Properties. The escrow officer is also employed by Impact Properties, and that should have been a red flag to us from the beginning. The closing process was so painful because the escrow officer and her team were so incompetent and not proactive with simple issues on the deed that they should have been able to spot.
Those issues resulted in us having to close five days after our supposed closing day. It is already not fair to us as buyers when we worked so hard on getting all of our ducks in a row and for the process to be delayed because of incompetent staff on the sellers' side. Fast forward to four weeks after closing, we found out that one of the checks that they sent to pay for our other debts as a part of our closing on the house were cashed fraudulently.
We could clearly see the fraud when they sent us the proof of the check after two weeks of the time the check was cashed, but the escrow officer did not see it until we pointed it out. We had been following up every week and wanted to be patient. We understand that these issues happen, but we wish the staff here would be more proactive with problem solving instead of waiting until it is a big issue or until we call them out on it.
At this point we have had to pay interests on our debts because this company was irresponsible in the way they sent payments out. We want to warn any buyers out there working with this business when they represent the sellers' side.

This is a slightly different kind of review. We are from a Foundation and had an indirect dealing with Aaron Zapata, in which we rented a house from his client where Aaron is the realtor. After we finished our tenancy in 2015, we were involved in some dispute over the outstanding water bills with Aaron. After a few email exchanges, both parties were able to resolve the situation amicably.
We would like to commend Aaron for being professional and fair throughout, and this review is to show that if there were to be some dispute in the dealings, you can be confident that Aaron is able to deal with it professionally and fairly to reach a win-win situation.

I was referred to two selling agents from my neighborhood from the relocation company handling my move. After meeting with the two agents, I clearly decided on which one of the two I would select. Since the two agents suggested selling prices didn't come within a certain tolerance, the relocation company referred me to Aaron Zapata for a third opinion.
I ended up choosing Aaron over the other agent I was so excited to work with because in our initial meeting he was timely, organized, and seemed so confident he could quickly sell my house. Even though Aaron was busy going to jury duty, he was able to get my house up for sale within a week. Sure enough, I got an offer on my house at the first Open House as Aaron so confidently predicted.
All throughout the negotiation and escrow process he kept on top of all the details and was very helpful in providing me sound advice. I would highly recommend Aaron Zapata to anyone that has any real estate service needs. He was very professional, experienced, and did everything possible to make sure that the stressful process of selling my home went very smooth.

Aaron was our agent during our recent relocation from the Chicago area to So. Calif. One of the highlights of our recent move was working with Aaron on finding our next home. He was simply the best real estate agent we have ever worked with in buying a new home. He was professional, always prepared, and listened to what we were looking for in our next home.
We had a very small window of time to try and find something that fit into our schedules and we actually purchased the first home he took us to. He knew exactly what we were looking for and made the most of the limited time we had for house hunting. We also had some very challenging issues in working with the seller of our new home, along with the agent, and it got even more complicated with the seller and agent of the home our seller was buying. Aaron carefully navigated through the sticky challenges with the other parties and we ended up with the house we wanted.
We also had some unique challenges in getting through the financing part of our new home purchase and Aaron did a great job in working with our mortgage company and helping us move that process forward as quickly as possible. Besides his thorough knowledge and understanding of the real estate market in So. Calif., one of his strengths is his people skills and handling difficult issues in a high stress environment.

We embarked on this new adventure with Aaron in December of 2008, when we first called him to ask if he could help us find our new home. After seven months, ten offers and more than 100 homes viewed, one of the most difficult and complex real estate transactions was complete. Because of Aaron, we are now in the home that is perfect for our family.
Through the tenuous and nerve racking experience of purchasing a short sale Aaron walked us through the process step by step. If there is an easy short sale, this was not it. At times, we wanted to throw in the towel. Aaron, however, was there to take our numerous worried phone calls and help us sort through all of our options. Not once did Aaron get impatient with us, nor act like our questions were silly or ill-founded.
Every time we contacted Aaron, he was happy and upbeat and ready to answer our questions. Aaron is a very hard worker who strives to make all of his clients happy with their real estate transaction. Aaron Zapata has been a great realtor in the selling of my Aunt's home in Burbank, California. He was referred to me by my son, a realtor in Northern California. I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with Aaron Zapata. My husband and I met Aaron in June 2009. We were frustrated and discouraged, as a lot of home buyers are in a very competitive market. We were on the verge of taking a break from our home search, but Aaron was our sign of hope and determination. I was surprised at how attentive he was with our needs and wants.
I never had to wait more than a day for a response and he was always available and flexible with our schedule. That was the key for me to continue working with Aaron. He was very professional, punctual, and communicated well with us and with other parties. As first-time home buyers, purchasing a home was uncharted territory for us, and he really helped us understand all the processes that are involved in making such a huge investment.
