Everest has been my property management group for 12 years, and I have to say that Leslie Wilson has done an excellent job in helping me with managing my properties. She is efficient, and always on top of every email. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have been in the Birmingham market for a few months now and Evernest has been great. Our particular property manager assigned to our team is Leslie Wilson. I cannot say enough good things about Leslie. She is fantastic. Leslie is very responsive and helpful. We will certainly be using Evernest for other properties that we acquire. Thank you Leslie and Evernest for always making sure we are covered.

BEWARE! Evernest, rebranded from GK Houses (reputation?), owes me rent from December. They have been our property manager for a few years. When there is work to be done on one of our rental homes it's always expensive (2 to 3 times what normal work costs). Customer service is hardly that, hence this review. I have been trying to find out where our rent money is that they collected for December.

I've been hung up on by my current manager (Maxwell Christ) with no call back. I've left messages with others, no calls back. These guys are terrible! They won't or can't tell me when I'm going to be paid the final rents they are holding. Simple request has to turn in to this bad review. BBB and Consumer Affairs are on the list next to contact.

I recently switched to Evernest and I already see the difference! I've been working with Leslie Wilson, and she is so communicative and clear in her responses. For me, that is EVERYTHING! Coming from a management company where I felt like I had to pull information out of them to now working with Leslie is a complete and welcomed change. I am so excited that I made the switch. I only wish I had done it sooner.

Maria was extremely helpful in securing the home I wanted! My situation was dire and I needed to find a home within a week or two; Maria and Tyler were able to get me set up as quickly as possible, and even went as far as to reach out to the homeowner to allow my cat to live with me. I am so thankful to them for their help in this process! But especially Maria, who communicated with me consistently and made sure I felt comfortable and kept in the loop in the process. Thank you so muchTyler and Maria!

Leslie Wilson is my property manager and she is super excellent in everything starting from quickly responding to any of my questions, emails, coordinating with the vendors, tenants etc. Whenever I am looking for a new property, she helps me with rental comps after taking approvals from her team. She is simply awesome and would like to give her all stars. Keep it up Leslie!

So far our experience renting through Evernest has been positive. Jose was wonderful to work with during the beginning and was very helpful and responsive. Maintenance was quick to respond the same day we put in a request for a repair.

Leslie and everyone at Evernest are an essential part of any real estate investors team. I am an out of state investor who would not be able to do so without Evernest. They provide outstanding property management services in a very transparent manner and gives me the peace of mind that my investments are well taken care of and allow me to have a relatively passive involvement in these investments. Leslie is extremely responsive in all of my inquiries and ensures that I have everything needed to make an informed decision, which is often lacking with other property management companies.

Worst experience of my life. Had to deal with this horrible company that truly should be shut down about 3 years ago when they were GK Houses. Set a date to move in and when we showed up, we were told we had to leave because they were still working on the house. After finally moving in we call the gas company to turn the gas on for hot water and heat and they advise us to get the gas line checked since gas hadn't been on in that house in 3 years.

So we do, and the man tells us there's lots of issues and will cost $1200. Well, we are renters so I contact GK to fix the gas problem and about a year later when our rent is over, the gas had still never been fixed. Throughout the whole winter we had no heat. We contacted GK too many times to count and went to their office. They just continuously blamed it on the owner.

But the cherry on top is after moving out they don't give us the security deposit back claiming they had to paint the walls again. It was a $1200 deposit. I've heard many similar stories to this in the past and they truly should not be allowed to stay in business.

We moved into our home from out of state at the end of the fall. We leased site unseen and the day we arrived our home was filthy! My husband sent an email and it was brushed under the rug. There were scuff marks on the walls, nail holes from the previous residents, and the carpet absolutely gross! I have been in property management for about 10 years for luxury properties and I thought that paying what we pay for rent we'd have an amazing experience but I guess I was wrong!

On Christmas Day as we are eating breakfast we notice water running down the wall, we immediately called Evernest to send someone out. We've called multiple times and no one has come or responded. We had plans with family this past weekend being our first Christmas home and missed out because of zero communication from the management company or their maintenance staff. This is truly unacceptable! I will be looking into the Fair Housing Guidelines after reading the reviews.
